　宇宙間の万物は種類が非常に多いけれども、これらを統合すると二つの体に分けられる。その一つを「有機体」（ベーヴェルクトガニスムス）という。動物と植物がこれである。機器を備え、生命力を宿し、生と死に関わる。そして滋養を異なる種類のものから得て、内部から化生し、これによって形質を作り上げる。

Two Bodies
　Although the varieties of all things in the universe are extremely numerous, when these are unified, they can be divided into two bodies. One of these is called the "organic body" (bewerkt organismus). Animals and plants constitute this category. They are equipped with mechanisms, harbor vital force, and are subject to life and death. They obtain nourishment from different types of substances, undergo internal transformation, and thereby form their physical substance.
