上意の趣を御達しがあり、鶴を御頂戴することを御請けして申し上げた後、御長座敷にお座りになり御料理を出した。七兵衛殿の御退出後、右の御礼のため登城し、それから御老中并びに酒井河内守（忠挙）殿へ御廻勤した。若年寄中へは御使者として御番頭を指し出した。
一 同日 寒中につき、御使者を通じて例の通り御国産（一番）の生鱈を献上した。
一 十二月九日 上使を通じて昌親様へ御鷹の鶴を御拝領されたことにつき、御礼のため御老中・若年寄中并びに酒井河内守（忠挙）殿へ御使者として御番頭を指し出した。
一 同月十二日 寒中につき、御使者を通じて例の通り御国産（二番）の生鱈を献上した。
一 同月二十一日 歳暮の御祝儀のため、御使者を通じて例の通り御小袖を献上した。
一 同月二十五日 清姫様から端午・重陽・歳暮の御献上の件について御老中まで御伺いをなされた所、御伺いの通り御献上をなされるよう、渡辺大隅守（綱貞）殿を通じて御指図があった。
一 同月二十六日 清姫様から初めて歳暮の御祝儀として、御使者を通じて御時服（三着）を献上された。
一 同月二十七日 去る二十四日から御発熱のところ、今日から御疱瘡になられた。

The Shogun's intentions were conveyed, and after accepting and acknowledging the receipt of the crane, [the lord] sat in the main reception room and served a meal. After Shichibē's departure, as thanks for the above, [the lord] went to the castle, then made courtesy visits to the senior councilors and Sakai Kawachi-no-kami (Tadataka). To the junior councilors, guard captains were sent as messengers.
