公方様御機嫌為御伺江戸表江御使者被指出之
一 七月《割書：日不｜詳》為生見玉御祝儀御使者を以例之通黄金
被献之
一 同月廿日永平寺入院ニ付登 城十帖一巻指上之於大
広間 御逢有之終而鎮徳寺 御目見被 仰付十帖
一本献上
一 八月朔日為御祝儀御使者林又左衛門《割書：勝｜重》を以例之通御太刀
馬代被献之
但右御使者御国表ゟ被指出候趣ニ而江戸表ニ詰居候
又左衛門を以被献之
一 同月六日 清姫様御袖被為 留候為御祝儀御使陰山
与兵衛を以 清姫様江御小袖《割書：代銀二｜十枚》二種一荷被進之
昌親様ゟも右為御祝儀縮緬《割書：十｜巻》二種一荷被進之与兵衛
今日福井出立
一 同月十一日於評定所自今以後御家中之者致死去
跡目無之者之妻子無親類流浪仕候者母妻子共ニ
其年之物成五分一被下候但親兄弟伯父甥迄有之者江者
御構不被成筈之旨御書院番頭大御番頭御留守番頭

公方様の御機嫌伺いのため、江戸表へ御使者を派遣した
一 七月（日は詳細不明） 生見玉の祝儀のため、使者を以て例の通り黄金を献上した
一 同月二十日 永平寺入院につき登城し、十帖一巻を指上した。大広間において御逢いがあり、終わって鎮徳寺の御目見を仰せ付けられ、十帖一本を献上した
一 八月朔日 祝儀のため使者林又左衛門勝重を以て、例の通り御太刀・馬代を献上した
ただし右の使者は御国表から派遣された趣ではなく、江戸表に詰めている又左衛門を以て献上した
一 同月六日 清姫様の御袖留めの祝儀のため、使者陰山与兵衛を以て清姫様へ御小袖（代銀二十枚）二種一荷を進上した。昌親様からも右の祝儀のため縮緬（十巻）二種一荷を進上した。与兵衛は今日福井を出立した
一 同月十一日 評定所において、今後御家中の者が死去し跡目がない者の妻子で、親類がなく流浪する者については、母・妻子ともにその年の物成五分の一を下賜する。ただし親・兄弟・伯父・甥までがいる者には御構いにならない筈である旨を、御書院番頭・大御番頭・御留守番頭へ

A messenger was dispatched to Edo to inquire about the Shogun's well-being
- July (date unknown): For the celebration of Ikimidama, gold was presented through a messenger as customary
- July 20th: For the entrance into Eiheiji Temple, [someone] went to the castle and presented one scroll of ten volumes. There was an audience in the Ōhiroma (Great Hall), and afterward, a formal meeting at Chintokuji Temple was ordered, and one volume of ten fascicles was presented
- August 1st: For celebratory purposes, through messenger Hayashi Matazaemon Katsushige, a ceremonial sword and horse fee were presented as customary
Note: This messenger was not dispatched from the home domain, but the presentation was made through Matazaemon who was stationed in Edo
- August 6th: For the celebration of Princess Kiyohime's osode-dome ceremony, through messenger Kageyama Yohei, two types of kosode (silk value: twenty pieces of silver) in one package were presented to Princess Kiyohime. Lord Masachika also presented two types of crepe silk (ten rolls) in one package for this celebration. Yohei departed from Fukui today
- August 11th: At the Council of State (Hyōjōsho), it was decreed that henceforth, when retainers die without heirs, their wives and children who have no relatives and become destitute shall be granted one-fifth of that year's rice yield for both mothers and wives/children. However, this shall not apply to those who have parents, siblings, uncles, or nephews. This was conveyed to the heads of the Palace Guard, Great Guard, and Caretaker Guard
