一 八月十八日、今度上総国の御鷹場へ鉄砲で廻ることになったため、
中川御番所通りの手形裏判の件について、松平因幡守殿、石川美作守殿へ
お頼みになったところ、調うことになったため、右の御挨拶のお書状を遣わされた
一 同月二十五日 高照院様の御石塔を瑞源寺へ御建立することが
仰せ出された
一 同月二十九日、若狭守《注記：直明》様が大野から福井の御屋敷へお着きになり、そこから
御本丸へお越しになった。その際、御玄関まで御家老、御宿老が罷り出て、
鶴の間に高知の面々が詰め、鉄砲の間までお出迎えをなし、奥の
御寝間へお通しして御対顔があった。御雑煮、御料理《注記：三汁十菜》が出され、
昌親様、綱昌様がお引物でお座りになり、
綱昌様と御同座でお膳を召し上がられ、御家老本多民部《注記：道重》がお相伴した

1. August 18th, this time for going around with guns to the hawk hunting grounds in Kazusa Province,
regarding the endorsement of travel permits through Nakagawa checkpoint, requests were made to
Lord Matsudaira Inaba-no-kami and Lord Ishikawa Mimasaku-no-kami, and as arrangements were completed,
letters of greeting were sent regarding this matter.
1. The 25th of the same month: It was announced that a stone pagoda for Lady Kosho-in
would be erected at Zuigen Temple.
1. The 29th of the same month: Lord Wakasa-no-kami《Note: Naoaki》 arrived at the Fukui residence from Ono, and from there
proceeded to the main castle. On that occasion, the chief retainers and senior retainers came out to the main entrance,
high-ranking members waited in the Crane Room, and they went out to welcome him as far as the Gun Room, then
escorted him to the inner sleeping quarters where a formal meeting took place. Zoni soup and cuisine《Note: three soups, ten dishes》were served,
Lord Masachika and Lord Tsunamasa were seated with gifts,
and they dined together with Lord Tsunamasa, with chief retainer Honda Minbu《Note: Michishige》 accompanying them.
