法皇御所・本院御所へのご機嫌伺いのため、使者日下部善大夫を京都へ派遣した。お伺いの上、今日江戸屋敷を出発
ただし善大夫の京都到着日は不明

東福門院様（女院御所）の御当座御法事があったため、使者佐野内膳（影平）を京都へ派遣し、御香典として銀二十枚を献上した。お伺いの上、内膳は今日江戸屋敷を出発

一 七月七日 御生身玉のお祝いのため、使者を通じて例年通り黄金を献上した
御城の柳之間において老中久世大和守（広之）殿がお受け取りになった

忠右衛門殿がこの御屋形へお越しになった際、玄関において富永新左衛門（長盛）が雲雀を受け取り、書院へ持参した。その際、広間板之間まで出迎えし、ご案内して忠右衛門殿を書院へ通した。上意の趣旨をお達しになり、雲雀を頂戴し、お礼を申し上げて終了し、その後御長座敷にお座りになった

Regarding the death of the Empress Dowager's Palace
Messenger Kusakabe Zendayu was dispatched to Kyoto to inquire about the well-being of the Retired Emperor's Palace and the Main Palace. After receiving instructions, he departed from the Edo residence today.
However, the date of Zendayu's arrival in Kyoto is unknown.
One: Same month, 29th
For the immediate memorial service of Tofukumon-in (Empress Dowager's Palace), messenger Sano Naizen (Kagehira) was dispatched to Kyoto and offered twenty pieces of silver as incense money. After receiving instructions, Naizen departed from the Edo residence today.
However, the date of Naizen's arrival in Kyoto and the date of offering the incense money are unknown.
One: July 7th For the celebration of the Shogun's birthday, gold was offered as usual through a messenger.
Senior Councilor Kuze Yamato-no-kami (Hiroyuki) received it at the Yanagi-no-ma room in the castle.
One: Same month, 9th Through a messenger, the first cod of the province was offered as usual.
One: Same month, 19th Through envoy Takagi Chuemon, thirty larks from the shogunal falconry were received.
When Chuemon came to this residence, Tominaga Shinzaemon (Nagemori) received the larks at the entrance and brought them to the study. At that time, [the lord] went out to greet [the envoy] up to the wooden floor of the reception hall, guided him to the study where Chuemon was shown in. The shogunal message was conveyed, the larks were received with gratitude, and after this was completed, [the lord] took his seat in the long sitting room.
