現代語訳
拝領した雲雀を吸物にして酒宴を行う予定であったが、料理をお断りしたため実施されなかった。忠右衛門殿が退出された後、そのお礼のため登城し、その後老中廻勤の酒井河内守（忠挙）殿並びに若年寄中へ使者として御番頭を派遣した。
一 七月二十一日 清姫様が鳥越御屋敷から霊巌島御屋敷へお引き移りになり、大奥において婚姻の準備が整えられた。
一 同月二十二日 上記と同じく、御三日目のお祝いのため、使者斎藤半左衛門を通じて万姫【忠昌の娘】様へ五百八十個の餅を進上した。万姫様からも使者藤田加左衛門（信勝）を通じて同様に進上された。
一 同日 上記と同じく、万姫様のお住まいへ綱昌様・清姫様がお入りになり、万姫様へ黄金十枚・三種二荷を進上した。清姫様からは綿百把と二種一荷を進上した。
一 八月一日 お祝いのため登城し、御太刀・馬代を献上した。
一 同月三日 東叡山において高巌院様の三回忌御法事があったため、使者嶋田清左衛門（重季）を通じて御香典として銀五枚を差し出した。
一 同月九日 登城したところ、御黒書院へ公方様がお出ましになり、御帷子五着（縦染二着・薄柿一着・浅黄一着・白一着）、御単三着（綾縞一着・繻珍一着・紗綾一着）、御袷二着（熨斗目一着・練縞縦染紅裏一着）を献上し、婚姻のお礼を申し上げた。

The plan was to hold a drinking party using the gifted larks as soup, but as the meal was declined, this did not take place. After Chuemon's departure, [the lord] went to the castle to express gratitude, and afterwards dispatched a guard captain as messenger to Senior Councilor Sakai Kawachi-no-kami (Tadaaki) who was making his rounds, as well as to the junior councilors.
One: July 21st Lady Kiyohime moved from the Torigoe residence to the Reiganjima residence, and preparations for the wedding were completed in the inner quarters.
One: Same month, 22nd For the same reason, as celebration for the third day [after the wedding], 580 rice cakes were presented to Lady Manhime [daughter of Tadamasa] through messenger Saito Hanzaemon. Lady Manhime also presented the same through her messenger Fujita Kazaemon (Nobukatsu).
One: Same day For the same reason, Lord Tsunamasa and Lady Kiyohime entered Lady Manhime's residence and presented ten pieces of gold and three kinds in two loads to Lady Manhime. Lady Kiyohime presented one hundred bundles of cotton and two kinds in one load.
One: August 1st For celebration, [the lord] went to the castle and presented a ceremonial sword and horse substitute.
One: Same month, 3rd As there was a third anniversary memorial service for Lord Kōganin at Tōeizan, five pieces of silver were offered as incense money through messenger Shimada Seizaemon (Shigesue).
One: Same month, 9th When [the lord] went to the castle, the Shogun appeared in the Black Study, and [the lord] presented five summer kimono (two with vertical dyeing, one light persimmon, one light blue, one white), three single-layer garments (one with twill stripes, one with silk crepe, one with figured satin), and two lined kimono (one formal striped, one with refined stripes and vertical dyeing with red lining), and expressed gratitude for the marriage.
