社司の内、名代正祝・重豊は去る七日頃に叔母が死去したため、服喪のため近衛殿に奉公人を呼び上げて代わりとした（采女・重吉を代理とする）。
新宮祝の代理は弟の軌久。氏人の番衆は以下の通り：
- 一番衆：大監物・氏金
- 二番衆：織部正・保嘉
- 三番衆：右京亮・保太
- 四番衆：右馬助・清承
- 五番衆：初市正・福久
- 六番：縫殿助・季行
- 七番：大膳進・以顕
- 八番：上野守・氏陽
- 九番：左近将監・氏道
- 十番：木工権助・季通
当日、社司は束帯を着用し、下重の氏人は赤襟の大帷子を着用する。
ただし、この社司の束帯着用については、伝奏の仰せによって任意（随意）とする。寛永年間には衣冠・千早であったが、今回も五官役は千早を着用する。
十一日、雨天。参籠衆は残らず毎日社参し、社殿を一巡（一反）ずつ廻る。来る十六日に当社の正遷宮が行われるためである。
十二日、晴れ。明日、御神宝を御札屋において諸人が拝見するため、今日は神主の屋敷から神宝屋へ（神宝を）移し入れ、また庁屋・高倉等へも入れる。権祝・重栄および氏神祝・作直の両名へ遷宮の伝授を申し上げた。
十三日、晴れ。御札屋において御神宝の拝見が行われた。

Among the shrine officials (shashi), the acting head priest (nadai shōhafuri), Shigeyoshi, had his aunt pass away around the 7th of the month, and due to mourning obligations, a servant was summoned from the Konoe residence to serve as substitute (Uneme and Shigeyoshi designated as proxies).
The substitute for the Shingū priest (shingū hafuri) is his younger brother, Norichisa. The ranked groups of uji-bito (hereditary clan members) are as follows:
- 1st group: Daikenmotsu, Ujikane
- 2nd group: Orибe no Shō, Yasuyoshi
- 3rd group: Ukyō no Suke, Yasuta
- 4th group: Umanotsuke, Kiyonori
- 5th group: Hatsuichishō, Fukuhisa
- 6th group: Nuidono no Suke, Sueyuki
- 7th group: Daizennoshin, Motoaki
- 8th group: Kōzuke no Kami, Ujiharu
- 9th group: Sakon-shōgen, Ujimichi
- 10th group: Moku-gonnosuke, Suemichi
On the day of the ceremony, the shrine officials (shashi) are to wear formal court dress (sokutai), while the lower-ranking uji-bito are to wear red-collared large hitatare (ōkazuki).
Note: The wearing of sokutai by shrine officials is at discretion (zuii), following the instructions of the Tendai-so (transmission official). During the Kan'ei era, the dress was informal court dress (ikan) and a plain white robe (chihaya); this time as well, the five-official roles (gokan-yaku) are to wear chihaya.
11th day, rainy. All those in sacred retreat (sanrō-shū) perform daily shrine visits without exception, each making one circuit of the shrine precincts. This is in preparation for the Main Shrine Relocation Ceremony (shō-sengū) to take place on the coming 16th.
12th day, clear. As the sacred treasures (go-shimbō) will be displayed for public viewing at the Ofuda-ya (amulet hall) tomorrow, today the treasures are moved from the head priest's residence into the Shinpō-ya (treasure hall), as well as into the Chō-ya (administrative hall) and Takakura (elevated storehouse). The transmission of the sengū (relocation ceremony) rites was conveyed to both the Gon-hafuri Shigeyoshi (重栄) and the Ujigami-hafuri Sakunao (作直).
13th day, clear. The sacred treasures were displayed for viewing at the Ofuda-ya.
