現代語訳
伝奏へ内々に、正三位の氏人が従四位上に叙せられることについて、今度の御造営の賞として奉仕した者たちの大望するところである旨を申し上げたところ、先例のない者には叙せられないとの御返事であった。
貴布祢奥社の古御殿を今日撤却した。奉行は民部丞好顕・内蔵頭法顕の両名で、大工二人・下人六人であった。
十一日 木屋の屋根の下工事を行った。
十二日（夜になって雨が降った） 寄会（よりあい）において、青貝の小八脚・大八脚など不要となったものについては入札によって譲渡するとの旨により、今日入札が行われた。青貝の八脚（小）十二匁は神主が落札。また一つは七匁二分で氏徳が落札。貴布祢の青貝八脚は六匁（■久が落札）。大八脚は六匁八分であった。
季芳が来られ、賀茂下上陣義（かも上下の陣営についての記録）書立一冊を持参された。別冊に写して申し上げた。
内陣の御几帳の切れ端などを、十手（じって）を通じて少しずつ渡した。
英語訳
A private communication was made to the Tensō (imperial liaison) to the effect that it was the earnest wish of the Ujibito (clan member) of the Junior Third Rank (Shōsanmi) to be promoted to Senior Fourth Rank Upper Grade (Jushii no jō) as a reward for service during the recent construction project. The reply, however, was that such promotion could not be granted to those without precedent.
The old shrine building (furugo-den) of the inner shrine (okusho) of Kibune Shrine was dismantled today. The overseers (bugyō) were Minbu no jō Kōken and Kurando no kami Hōken, with two carpenters and six laborers.
11th: Roof framing work was carried out on the timber building (kiya).
12th (Rain fell at nightfall): At the assembly (yoriai), it was decided that surplus items — including small eight-legged stands (ko-hakkya) and large eight-legged stands (ō-hakkya) decorated with mother-of-pearl (aogai) — would be disposed of by sealed bid (irefuda). Today the bids were opened. The eight-legged mother-of-pearl stands (small) at twelve monme were won by the Kannushi (head priest). Another was won by Ujinori at seven monme and two bu. The Kibune eight-legged mother-of-pearl stands went for six monme (won by ■Hisa). The large eight-legged stands went for six monme and eight bu.
Kibō (季芳) paid a visit and brought one volume of written records concerning the upper and lower camp affairs (jin'gi) of the Kamo shrines. A copy was made in a separate volume and submitted.
The remnants and scraps of the inner sanctum's御几帳 (御几帳, fabric screens/curtains) were distributed in small amounts through the jitte (十手) relay system.
