現代語訳
伝奏へ内々に、正三位の氏人が従四位上に叙せられることについて、今回の御造営の賞として奉仕した者たちにとって大望の至りである旨を申し上げたところ、先例のない者には叙位はできないとの御返事であった。
貴布祢奥社の古御殿を今日撤却した。奉行は民部丞好顕・内蔵頭法顕の両名であり、大工二人・下人六人が従事した。
十一日 木屋の屋根下工（したく）を行った。
十二日（夜に入り雨が降った） 寄合にて、青貝の小八脚・大八脚など不要となったものは入札によって処分するとの旨に付き、今日入札が行われた。青貝八脚は十二匁で神主が落札した。また別の一つは七匁二分で氏徳が落札した。貴布祢の青貝八脚は六匁で軌久が落札した。大八脚は六匁八分であった。
季芳が出向いてきて、賀茂下社・上社の陣義（じんぎ）書立一冊を持参した。別冊として写しを申し上げた。
内陣の御几帳の切れ端などを、十手へ少しずつであっても渡すこととした。

It was privately communicated to the Tensō (court intermediary) that it was the deepest wish of the uji-bito (shrine-affiliated persons) of Junior Third Rank (Shōsanmi) to be promoted to Senior Fourth Rank Upper Grade (Jushiinojō) as a reward for their service in the current construction project. However, the reply received was that such promotion could not be granted to those without established precedent.
The old shrine building (furumikoto) of the inner sanctuary (oku-yashiro) of Kibune Shrine was demolished today. The overseers (bugyō) were Minbunojō Kōken and Kurando-no-kami Hōken, the two of them, assisted by two carpenters (daiku) and six laborers (genin).
11th: Carpentry work was carried out beneath the roof of the timber storage building (kiya).
12th (Rain fell after nightfall): At a gathering (yoriai), it was decided that surplus items — including small eight-legged stands (ko-hakkya) and large eight-legged stands (ō-hakkya) decorated with aogai (blue shell inlay) — would be disposed of by sealed bidding (irefuda). The bidding was held today. Eight aogai-decorated stands (hakkya) went for twelve monme, won by the kannagi (shrine priest). Another lot went for seven monme two bu, won by Ujitoku. The eight aogai-decorated stands for Kibune Shrine went for six monme, won by Norihisa. The large eight-legged stands went for six monme eight bu.
Kiho came and brought a bound volume (issatsu) of written records concerning the matters of the lower and upper Kamo shrines' military encampment protocols (jin-gi kakitate). A copy was made and submitted as a separate volume.
It was decided that remnant pieces of the interior sanctuary's御几帳 (mikichō, hanging curtains/screens) would be distributed, even if only in small amounts, through the jitte (administrative relay network).
