昇安院様の御法号（を伝える使者として）、大御番毛利与七（武照）が道中の守護として江戸着に際し、直ちに天徳寺へ遣わされ候。梅姫様は、今日より陽寿院様と称せられ候。
ただし、御切髪は翌寅年（享保7年）六月三日のこと。
昇安院様御廟の下へ御納めとなられ候。

吉邦様の御病気御尋ねの御奉書が御国表より帰着されたにつき、御用番水野和泉守（忠之）殿まで差し出され候えども、そのまま御渡しになられ候。
一、十二月二十一日、江戸表よりの御使者、御奏者番嶋田宇右衛門（繁例）が福井へ着いたにつき、御家中の面々ならびに松岡の諸士が登城し、本多大蔵（長教）をはじめ御家老ならびに秋田八郎兵衛（敏昭）が出席し、宇右衛門の侍座にて、御意の趣を、各席において月番御家老酒井丹下（知房）が申し渡し候。

The posthumous Buddhist name of Lady Shōan-in was conveyed by Ōgoban Mōri Yoshishichi (Takete), who had served as escort during the journey, upon his arrival in Edo, and was immediately forwarded to Tentoku-ji Temple. Lady Ume-hime is henceforth to be called Lady Yōju-in.
Note: The hair-cutting ceremony (okiri-gami) took place on the third day of the sixth month of the following year of the Tiger (Kyōhō 7).
(The hair) was interred beneath the mausoleum of Lady Shōan-in.

The official inquiry document (gofusho) from the domain regarding Lord Yoshikuni's illness having returned from the domain, it was submitted to the duty Senior Councillor (goyōban) Mizuno Izumi-no-Kami (Tadayuki), and was passed on as-is without further action.
Item: On the 21st day of the 12th month, the envoy from Edo, the Sōja-ban (Chamberlain) Shimada Uemon (Shigetame), arrived in Fukui. The domain retainers and the samurai of Matsuoka assembled at the castle. Honda Ōkura (Naganori) and the other chief retainers, along with Akita Hachirobei (Toshiaki), attended, and seated beside Uemon, the monthly duty chief retainer Sakai Tange (Tomofusa) conveyed the lord's wishes to those assembled at their respective seats.
Item: On the 22nd day of the same month, a communication arrived from the Inspector General (ōmetsuke) Hikosaka Iki-no-Kami (Harunori), requesting that a detailed account (meisaisho) be submitted in connection with the current succession.
