英語訳

**From the Hyakurenshō (百練抄):** On the eighth day of the fifth month of Kanji 7 (1093), matters were determined in the various districts regarding the fallen and standing trees at large and small shrines in Owari Province, as well as matters concerning the Kamo Shrine records, imperial decrees, and horse-keeping. **Inchō Kudabumi (Official Document from the Retired Emperor's Office):** From the Retired Emperor's Office, to the Zaichō Officials (local government officials) of Bizen Province: You are to promptly and without delay arrange for the transport and delivery of the nengu rice (annual tax rice) from the estates of Yamada, Takehara, and other holdings belonging to the Kamo Wakeikazuchi Shrine. The said rice from these estates is intended for a matter of great importance (the text contains an annotation suggesting the character may read "麦," meaning "wheat/barley," rather than another reading). Regarding the mobilization of sailors and oarsmen for the transport vessels, this shall not be treated as comparable to other regions; all corvée labor obligations of the aforementioned parties shall be suspended immediately, acts of lawlessness and interference along the route shall be ceased, and the rice shall be delivered by the designated deadline. The request is as stated above. The zaichō officials and estate officials (shōkan) are to take due notice of this and must not fail to comply. Therefore, this order is issued. Fourth day of the eleventh month of Juei 2 (1183): - Acting Junior Clerk, Director of the Weaving Bureau and concurrently Senior Secretary of the Empress's Household: Ōe no Ason [seal/monogram] - Bettō, Middle Counselor and concurrently Minister of Popular Affairs: Fujiwara no Ason [seal/monogram] — Acting Inspector, Provisional Assistant Commander of the Left Gate Guards: Fujiwara no Ason [seal/monogram] - Minister of the Treasury: Takashina no Ason [seal/monogram] - Consultant and Right Major Controller: Taira no Ason [seal/monogram]
