上賀茂川除堤御修覆料の件について。寛文十戌年より板倉内膳正様が新堤をお造りになり、その修覆料として新開（しんかい）をお申し付けになり、翌亥年より五味藤九郎様のご支配のもと、御蔵入分をお見取りにて、年々御下札をいただき上納してまいりました。その後、天和元酉年より小堀仁右衛門様のご支配にて、去る丑年まで年々お見取りのうえ上納仕り来たり申し候。以上。

Regarding the above, the six officers of Renhisa each conducted their own inquiries and prepared written statements, and the matter was further discussed at a small assembly (koyoriai).

Concerning the repair costs for the flood-control embankment (kawayoke-tsutsumi) of Kamigamo: From the 10th year of Kanbun (1670), the Itakura Naizen-no-Shō ordered the construction of a new embankment, and new reclaimed land (shinkai) was designated as the source of repair funds. From the following year (the Year of the Boar), under the administration of Gomi Tōkurō, the income from the government reserve land (okura-ire) was assessed annually, and we received official receipts (kudafuda) each year, duly submitting payment. Thereafter, from the 1st year of Tenna (1681, the Year of the Rooster), under the administration of Kobori Jinuemon, we continued to make annual assessed payments up through the recent Year of the Ox. Respectfully submitted.
