一山本宮内被申候者山崎之玄蕃社頭寄進之油年々相
滞候ニ付被願上候御事漸銀子五枚相調申候間指上油之
義自今以後御用捨奉願候段宜願候旨玄蕃被願候事
評云 先祖之時分寄進之御方雖有之至子孫及
懈怠度々催足被遣候へ共油滞候処此度玄蕃冥加
存乍少々銀子指上向後油御用捨被願候義尤之
事御許容可有之旨也
一庄屋七兵衛方へ如此書付廻り来り候由ニテ持参
賀茂川御修覆料古検帳尻写新検帳尻
写早々指越可被申并銘々支配之場所御修覆
料堤之内ニ而候哉又ハ堤之外之所も有之候哉其

一、山本宮内が申されるには、山崎の玄蕃が社頭へ寄進していた油が年々滞っていたため、願い出ておられた件について、ようやく銀子五枚を用意できたので、これを差し上げる代わりに、今後は油の寄進についてご容赦いただきたいとの旨を、玄蕃が願い出た事。
評（議）して言う：先祖の時代に寄進をされた方がいたものの、子孫の代になって怠慢となり、たびたび催促を遣わしても油が滞っていたところ、このたび玄蕃が神仏のご加護（冥加）に感じ入り、少額ながら銀子を差し上げ、今後の油の寄進についてご容赦を願っているのは、もっともなことであり、これをお許しになるべきである、との意見。
一、庄屋七兵衛方へこのような書付が回ってきたとのことで、持参した（内容は以下の通り）：
賀茂川御修覆料について、古い検地帳の合計（尻）の写しと、新しい検地帳の合計（尻）の写しを、早々にお送りくださいますよう。また、それぞれの方の支配する場所が御修覆料の堤の内にあるのか、あるいは堤の外の場所もあるのか、その訳を書き付けて、これも一緒にご提出ください。この件については、我々からお伝えするよう仰せ付けられましたので、このようにお伝えします。以上。

Item: Yamamoto Kunai has reported that Genbannof Yamazaki has been falling behind year after year on his oil donations (kisin) to the shrine. Regarding this matter for which a petition had been submitted: he has at last managed to prepare five pieces of silver (ginshi), and in presenting these, he now petitions that henceforth he be excused from the oil donations. Genbannsubmitted this petition.
Commentary: Although there was a person who made donations in the time of the ancestors, when it came to the descendants, they became negligent, and despite repeated reminders being sent, the oil donations remained in arrears. Under these circumstances, Genban, feeling the grace of the divine (myōga), offers a modest amount of silver and requests to be excused from future oil donations. This is a reasonable request, and it is the opinion that permission should be granted.
Item: The following written document circulated to the village headman Shichibe'e was brought in for review:
Regarding the repair costs for the Kamo River embankment: Please send as soon as possible copies of the final tallies (shiri) from the old land survey register (kenchi-chō) and the new land survey register. Additionally, please indicate in writing whether the areas under each person's administration are within the embankment zone designated for repair costs, or whether there are also areas outside the embankment zone, and submit this explanation together with the above. We have been instructed to convey this message, and accordingly do so. Respectfully submitted.
