簡儀ニ御座候右之趣得御意候事類家之者之
儀候得者如何ニも存候得共思召寄被仰聞段辱
存候付委細得御意候乍此上越後守と拙者儀ニ
御座候得者強而拙者存念を立可申心底ニハ無
御座候此等之趣御聞置被成可被下候為其以使者

右之通御口上書被指出候得共尚又重而御不通
被成候御訳柄左之通被仰遣之
先頃御内々得御意候通松平民部大輔之和順
難致趣者監物儀病気乱心之様子付
御前江指出候段難仕兵部大輔願申上為引籠
為致養生候然処松平大膳大夫方ゟ願申上為
養生引取申度旨付相返シ候其後監物病気
乱心之体ニ無之趣ニ致成シ諸事不遠慮成
仕形ニ而方々為致徘徊候依之兵部大輔偽之
様ニ罷成心外之儀弥右之趣ニ候ハヽ其通ニ難
差置覚悟をも究罷在候処其中如何様之品ニ

簡単な儀でございます。右の趣旨をご理解いただくことは、類家の者の件でございますので、どのようにも存じますが、お考えをお聞かせいただいた段、恐縮に存じます。詳細についてご理解いただき、この上で越後守と私の件でございますので、強いて私の考えを押し通そうという気持ちはございません。これらの趣旨をお聞き置きくださいますよう、そのため使者をもってご理解いただきます。以上

右の通り口上書を提出されましたが、なお重ねて御不通となされた事情は左の通り仰せ遣わされました。
先頃内々でご理解いただいた通り、松平民部大輔との和解が困難な趣旨は、監物が病気で乱心の様子のため、御前に出ることが困難な段、兵部大輔が願い申し上げ、引きこもって療養させておりました。ところが松平大膳大夫方から、願い申し上げて療養のため引き取りたい旨により、相手方に返しました。その後、監物の病気・乱心の様子はなくなった趣旨となり、諸事遠慮のない仕方で方々を徘徊するようになりました。これにより兵部大輔は偽りのようになってしまい、心外な儀で、いよいよ右の趣旨でございましたら、そのまま放置することは困難で、覚悟も決めて おりますところ、その間どのような事態に

Although the above oral statement document was submitted, the circumstances that led to continued non-communication were conveyed as follows:
As you understood privately some time ago, the reason why reconciliation with Matsudaira Minbu-dayū has been difficult is that Kenmotsu, due to illness and apparent mental derangement, could not appear before His Lordship. Hyōbu-dayū petitioned for him to withdraw and recuperate. However, Matsudaira Daizen-dayū's side petitioned to take him back for medical treatment, so he was returned to them. Afterward, Kenmotsu's condition of illness and mental derangement apparently ceased, and he began wandering about various places with completely unrestrained behavior. As a result, Hyōbu-dayū appeared to have been deceiving, which was most vexing. If this is indeed the case, it would be difficult to leave the situation as is, and we have been preparing our resolve.
