訳有之積廻申儀有之候ハヽ上り下り共福井
ニ而ハ御水主之小頭三国ニ而ハ改之者江相断可申事
右之条々堅可相守者也
正徳四年午七月日
覚
安居両渡其外川筋之村々川舟持共舟大小ニ
よらす福井并三国又ハ方々之川筋荷物致運
送候義三国沖之口出入共ニ被指留候御法度之俵
子其外諸色何方ゟ頼候共上り下り共ニ不可積廻候
自然無拠訳有之候ハヽ積廻候ハヽ福井ニ而者御水主
小頭江相断改を可受候三国ニ而ハ番所問丸并改之
者江可相断候川筋之在々又ハ他領村々ニ而頼候共
口留御法度之物ハ不何寄少之物ニ而も無断
不可積廻之事
右之通堅可相守者也

一 同日於運正寺昨晦日晩ゟ今朝迄
現代語訳
止むを得ない理由があって積み廻す儀があれば、上り下り共に福井では御水主の小頭、三国では改めの者へ相談して申すこと。
右の条々を堅く相守るべきである。
正徳四年午七月日
覚
安居両渡その他川筋の村々の川舟持共は、舟の大小によらず福井並びに三国又は方々の川筋へ荷物を運送する儀について、三国沖の口の出入り共に指し留められている御法度の俵子その他諸色を、何方から頼まれても上り下り共に積み廻してはならない。
自然止むを得ない訳があれば、積み廻す場合は福井では御水主小頭へ相談して改めを受けるべきである。三国では番所問丸並びに改めの者へ相談すべきである。川筋の在々又は他領村々にて頼まれても、口留御法度の物は何によらず少しの物でも無断で積み廻してはならないこと。
右の通り堅く相守るべきである。

If there are unavoidable circumstances requiring transportation, whether going upstream or downstream, consultation must be made with the head of the water guards in Fukui, and with the inspectors in Mikuni.
The above articles must be strictly observed.

Memorandum
The boat owners of Yasui-ryōwatashi and other villages along the river routes, regardless of the size of their boats, when transporting cargo to Fukui, Mikuni, or various other river routes: the prohibited rice bales and other goods that are restricted from entering and leaving the mouth of Mikuni Bay must not be transported either upstream or downstream, no matter who requests it.
If there are naturally unavoidable circumstances, when transporting such goods, in Fukui consultation must be made with the head of the water guards and inspection must be received. In Mikuni, consultation must be made with the guard station officials and inspectors. Even if requested by rural areas along the river routes or villages in other domains, prohibited goods under the checkpoint restrictions must not be transported without permission, regardless of the type or even if only small amounts.
The above must be strictly observed.
