一、十月十五日、増上寺において文昭院様の御法事があったため、御使者林八右衛門正容を以って御香奠銀十枚を献上し、同所本堂へ納めた（去月十四日に御書付を御渡しされた）。
一、同日、右同断が済んだため、月次御礼の後に御居残りにて首尾能く済んだ御歓びを仰せ上げた（去る十二日に御触達あり）。
一、同日、右同断につき御使者御留守居大関新五左衛門直看を以って御精進揚げの御肴（鯛三尾）を献上した（去る十二日に御触達あり）。
一、十月十六日、御簾揚げの儀についてこれまで御取り立ての者にて勤めてきたが、御側近に相勤める重き御役儀につき、御手廻りの内にて両人を仰せ付けられ、以来役名を「御駕籠附」と御改めになった。
一、十月二十三日、御老中戸田山城守忠真殿へ御逢対を御勤めした。
一、十月二十五日、重陽の御祝儀御献上につきての御内書を御城において御渡しがあり、御家来の拝領物等は例の如くであった。
一、十一月二日、東叡山において常憲院様七回御忌の御取越御法事につき、御機嫌を御伺いするため御桧重一組を献上した（去月二十七日に御書付を御渡しされた）。
一、十一月四日、右同断につき御機嫌を御伺いするため、御用番並びに御側御用人へ御勤めした。

On the 15th day of the 10th month, since there was a memorial service for Bunshō-in at Zōjō-ji temple, through messenger Hayashi Hachiuemon Masayoshi, ten pieces of incense silver were presented and deposited in the main hall of the temple (written instructions were given on the 14th of last month).
1. On the same day, since the above matter was completed, after the monthly formal greetings, remaining in attendance, congratulations were offered that everything concluded successfully (official notification was given on the 12th).
1. On the same day, regarding the same matter, through messenger and caretaker Ōzeki Shingozaemon Naomi, fish for breaking the period of abstinence (three sea bream) were presented (official notification was given on the 12th).

On the 16th day of the 10th month, regarding the matter of blind-raising duties, though this had been carried out by specially appointed personnel until now, since it concerns important duties serving close to his lordship, two people from among the personal attendants were appointed, and henceforth the position title was changed to "palanquin attendant."

1. On the 25th day of the 10th month, regarding the presentation of gifts for the Chrysanthemum Festival, a private letter was delivered at the castle, and rewards for retainers were as usual.
1. On the 2nd day of the 11th month, regarding the preliminary memorial service for the seventh anniversary of Jōken-in at Tōei-zan, one set of cypress boxes was presented to inquire after his well-being (written instructions were given on the 27th of last month).
1. On the 4th day of the 11th month, for the same reason as above, service was performed to the duty officer and chamberlain to inquire after well-being.
