英語訳

[Nago Orchid] The leaves are short and thick, the same size as cinnamon leaves, barely like fingers. It blooms in the third and fourth months, no different from orchids. Eight or nine flowers cluster on one stem, with a clear and transcendent fragrance surpassing orchids. It grows among the rocky cliffs of Mount Nago, requiring no soil or water. It either grows parasitically on tree branches or is wrapped in palm fiber and hung. There is also [Wind Orchid], with leaves longer than regular orchids, fragrance like galangal and fennel. When hung in bamboo baskets in front of the wind, it propagates extremely easily. The common people all revere orchids, calling them "Confucius flowers." [Millet Orchid] Also called Zhi orchid. Leaves like phoenix tail, flowers like pearl orchid. There are also [Pine Orchid], [Bamboo Orchid], and [Stick Orchid] [Note: Shaped like coral trees, green in color with no leaves. Flowers emerge from branch joints, resembling orchids but smaller]. [Wild Tree Peony] Local name 𦬯 flower. Leaves are no different from tree peonies. Flowers bloom in the second and third months, forming clusters like hanging bells. White petals with purple shading, sandalwood-colored center, large as bowls and extremely fragrant. Chewing its leaves serves as mouth freshener. The variety comes from Mount Daiping. There are also [Wild Begonia], [Fairy Rod], [Broom Peach], and [Wild Orchid] [Note: namely China's qingrang]. [Patterned Day Lily] Also called Happy Winter Flower. Flowers like day lilies but particularly small. Leaves have alternating blue and white patterns. [Mountain Su Flower] Also called Monkey Mat Flower. No flowers, no trunk. Emerges from soil, growing less than one foot tall. Leaves like banana but small, firm and thick with patterns. [Thunder Mountain Flower] Local name Lucky Eggplant. Leaves like iron-stem begonia, flowers like morning glory but somewhat smaller, crow-blue in color. Blooms from fourth to fifth months, bears fruit until eleventh month. Seeds like beans, pods like pomegranate chambers, containing dozens of seeds suitable for planting.
