とも《振り仮名：紫の一本｜むらさき ひともと》に塚（つか）の上に不動堂（ふとうたう）ありとあれは今の波切不動尊（なみきりふとうそん）の
地（ち）大塚（おほつか）と称（しよう）する旧跡（きうせき）にや相傳（あひつた）ふ太田道灌（おほたたうくわん）相図（あひつ）の狼煙（のろし）を揚（あく）る
料（りやう）に築（つき）たる塚なり故（ゆゑ）に昔（むかし）は太田塚（おほたつか）と唱（とな）へけると或（あるひ）は又 鎌倉将軍（かまくらしやうくん）
守邦親王（もりくにしんわう）乱（らん）をさけて武州（ふしう）比企郡（ひきこほり）大塚村（おほつかむら）に逝去（せいきよ）す其廟（そのひやう）を王（わう）
塚（つか）と称（しよう）すこゝに大塚と号（なつ）くるも此類（このるい）ならんといへとも詳（つまひらか）ならす

大法山（たいほふさん）本傳寺（ほんてんし） 大塚町横小路にあり日蓮宗（にちれんしう）にして駿州（すんしう）蓮（れん）
永寺（えいし）に属（そく）す昔は禅宗（せんしう）にして重光山（ちやうくわうさん）善性寺（せんしやうし）と号（なつ）く元和年
間（かん）瑞應禪師（すゐおうせんし）今の宗風（しうふう）に轉（てん）し自（みつから）の名を法仙院日行（ほふせんゐんにちきやう）と改（あらた）め
寺号（しかう）をも本傳寺とす
経讀日蓮大士（きやうよみにちれんたいし） 縁起（えんきに）云く往古（そのかみ）當寺（たうし）中興開山（ちゆうこうかいさん）日行上人 始（はしめ）
瑞應禪師（すゐおうせんし）と称（しよう）せし頃（ころ）蓮師（れんし）の宗義（しうき）を鑑（かんか）み覚悟（かくこ）の要路（えうろ）は法（ほつ）

とも《振り仮名：紫の一本》に塚の上に不動堂があるとあれば、今の波切不動尊の地を大塚と称する旧跡であろうか。相伝によると太田道灌が相図の狼煙を上げるために築いた塚である。故に昔は太田塚と唱えたという説もある。あるいはまた、鎌倉将軍守邦親王が乱を避けて武州比企郡大塚村で逝去し、その廟を王塚と称したことから、ここを大塚と号するのもこの類であろうというが、詳細は明らかでない。

大法山本伝寺 大塚町横小路にあり、日蓮宗で駿州蓮永寺に属する。昔は禅宗で重光山善性寺と号していた。元和年間に瑞応禅師が今の宗風に転じ、自らの名を法仙院日行と改め、寺号も本伝寺とした。
経読日蓮大士 縁起に云うには、往古当寺中興開山日行上人が、始め瑞応禅師と称していた頃、蓮師（日蓮）の宗義を鑑み、覚悟の要路は法華に限ることを発明し、宗風を転じようとしたが、さすがに心が決し

Also, as it states that there is a Fudo Hall on top of a mound at 《Ruby text: Murasaki no Hitomoto》, perhaps the current site of Namikiri Fudo-son is the historic site called Otsuka. According to tradition, it is a mound built by Ota Dokan for raising signal fires for coordination. Therefore, it was formerly called Ota-zuka, according to one theory. Alternatively, when Kamakura Shogun Prince Morikuni fled from rebellion and died in Otsuka village in Hiki district of Musashi Province, his mausoleum was called O-zuka (Royal Mound), and the naming of this place as Otsuka may be of this type, though the details are unclear.

Taiho-san Hondenji Temple Located on a side street in Otsuka-cho, it belongs to the Nichiren sect and is affiliated with Ren'eiji Temple in Suruga Province. It was formerly of the Zen sect and was called Jukosan Zenshoji Temple. During the Genna era, Zen Master Zuio converted to the current sect, changed his own name to Hosen'in Nichigyo, and also changed the temple name to Hondenji.
