　　　　　近年江戸御供被　仰付候面々御道中を晴与存
　　　　　支度仕者も可有之候道中之儀ハ何様ニ軽ク致
　　　　　支度御供仕候而も御構無之候純子繻珍等之類
　　　　　羽織袴等も只今迄取持仕候ハ各別新敷仕立申物ハ
　　　　　他を見合不申及見苦候而も不苦候間何ニ而も軽ク用

役方からは返礼に及ばない。大体面々の通りに心得るべきである。

一、同日、年始三ヶ日の御規式が済んだことを祝って、江戸表へ御番が派遣される例の通り、御肴（鰯）が献上された。（十一日の日付）

一、二月朔日、御道中御供回りの件について、以下の通り書付をもって諸奏者番へ御家老が申し渡した。

近年江戸御供を仰せ付けられた面々が、御道中を晴れがましく思い支度をする者もいるであろうが、道中の件については、いかように軽く支度をして御供をしても御構いない。純子や繻珍等の類、羽織袴等も今まで取り持ちしていたものは格別だが、新しく仕立て申すものは他を見合わせ申さず、見苦しくても苦しくないので、何においても軽く用意すべきである。面々の供回りの件も、できる限り軽くし、やつこ等を召し連れることも失却もあるであろうから、そのような者も相止めるべきである。総じて御道中を晴れがましく思うには及ばず、江戸表において相勤めするのを晴れに相応に用意すべき旨が仰せ出されているので、その旨を存じるべきである。以上

一、同月二十一日、歳暮御祝儀御献上について、御内書並びに御奉書

The officials should not engage in return courtesy. Generally, everyone should understand according to their respective positions.

1. On the same day, to celebrate the completion of the New Year's three-day ceremonies, offerings of fish (sardines) were presented to Edo as usual, with officials being dispatched there. (Dated the 11th)

1. On the first day of the second month, regarding the matter of attendants for the lord's journey, the senior retainers conveyed the following written instructions to the various attendant officials:

In recent years, those appointed to accompany [the lord] to Edo may think of the journey as a grand occasion and prepare accordingly. However, regarding travel matters, no matter how simply one prepares to serve as an attendant, there will be no objection. Items such as silk fabrics, brocades, haori jackets, and hakama that have been used until now are acceptable, but for newly tailored items, one need not compare with others - even if they appear unsightly, it matters not, so preparations should be made as simply as possible. Regarding personal attendants, these should also be kept to a minimum. Since there may be losses of servants and such during travel, such personnel should also be reduced. Overall, there is no need to regard the journey as a grand occasion; one should prepare appropriately for serving splendidly in Edo itself. This has been commanded, so everyone should bear this in mind. Above.

1. On the twenty-first of the same month, regarding year-end celebratory offerings, an inner letter and official document [were issued].
