御城において御渡しがあり、御家来への拝領物等は例の通りであった。

一、二月二十八日、御書をもって例の通り、御国産の干し鰈（かれい）が献上された。

一、三月三日、永平寺（の代表者が）登城し、懐紙十帖一本を差し上げた。韃靼之間においてお目通りがあった。

一、同月十五日、榊原式部大輔（政岑）殿の御裏方（奥方）が御卒去されたことにつき、御忌服の御届けを、御用番本多中務大輔（忠良）殿および西丸御老中松平能登守（乗賢）殿へ、御留守居荒川惣右衛門（直朗）が書付を持参し差し出した。

英語訳

At Edo Castle, the usual presentations were made, and gifts granted to the retainers were as customary.

1. On the twenty-eighth day of the second month, in accordance with custom and by written order, dried flounder from the domain's local products was presented.

1. On the third day of the third month, a representative from Eiheiji Temple came to the castle and presented ten sheets of folding paper (懐紙) and one scroll. An audience was granted in the Tatar Room (韃靼之間).

1. On the fifteenth day of the same month, upon the passing of the inner consort of Lord Sakakibara Shikibu-no-taifu (Masamine), a notification of mourning was submitted by the castle-keeper (留守居) Arakawa Sōemon (Naoaki) with written documents to the duty senior councilor (御用番) Honda Nakatsukasa-no-taifu (Tadayoshi) and to the West Citadel Senior Councilor (西丸御老中) Matsudaira Noto-no-kami (Noriyoshi).

　　　Mourning (忌): From the fourteenth day of the third month to the twenty-third day of the same month.

The above concerns the fact that the inner consort of Lord Sakakibara Shikibu-no-taifu passed away due to illness on the night of the fourteenth. Since Lord Hyōbu-no-taifu had previously been adopted into the Honda Nakatsukasa family, he observes mourning at the reduced (half) level. We hereby submit this notification. Above.
