「ノゴトリ」は
すなわち「ノコトリ」の略称である。
別に「ノコマ」と呼ぶものが
あり、『百鳥図』に
「紅■■（判読不明）」と記しているのは
誤りである。

"Nogotori" is
an abbreviation of "Nokotori."
There is also a separate bird called "Nokoma";
the entry in "Hyakuchōzu" (Picture Book of One Hundred Birds)
that writes it as "Kō■■ (illegible)" is
an error.
