現代語訳
使者として杉形槍奉行の水野善左衛門(脇満)と御書院番の本多助七を派遣し、
馬十一疋(内四疋は御用意)、沓籠九荷(内二荷は御用意)、長柄傘十本(内三本は御用意)、鞍皆具十六疋分、
沓籠十六荷を差し出した。善左衛門等は参州吉田駅(十三日)から豆州
三嶋駅(十七日)まで送り届けた(御人数都合百八十人)。
ただし帰路の際も三嶋駅(十一月二十六日)まで右同断で差し出した。
一、八月二十七日、朝鮮人が登城するため御登城されるべきところ、御病気のため御断り。
一、同月二十八日、朝鮮人登城が済んだため御歓びとして総出仕が仰せ出されたが、
御病気のため御登城を御断りし、御歓びのため老中並びに御側御用人へ
使者として御番頭嶋田七郎左衛門(重矩)を差し出した。
一、九月三日、重陽の御祝儀として使者を通じて例の通り御小袖を献上した。
若君様へも右同断(代銀三十枚)を献上した。
一、十月二十七日、大和守(直矩)様が侍従末席に仰せ出された。
一、十一月十五日、政姫様の御髪置の御祝儀があった。
一、同月十九日、重陽御祝儀御献上に付いての御内書並びに御奉書が
御城にて御渡しがあり、御家来拝領物等は例の通り。
一、十二月六日、使者として御留守居を通じて
若君様へ御翫(朝比奈三郎曽我五郎力競人形二)、御肴一種を献上した。

英語訳
Envoys were dispatched: Mizuno Zenzaemon (Wakimitsu), spear magistrate of Sugigata, and Honda Sukeshichi of the御書院番.
They presented eleven horses (four of which were prepared by the domain), nine pack baskets (two of which were prepared by the domain), ten long-handled umbrellas (three of which were prepared by the domain), complete saddle sets for sixteen horses, and sixteen pack baskets. Zenzaemon and others escorted them from Yoshida Station in Mikawa Province (13th day) to Mishima Station in Izu Province (17th day) (total personnel: 180 people).
However, on the return journey as well, the same arrangements were made to Mishima Station (November 26th).
1. August 27th: Korean envoys were to have an audience at the castle, and the lord was to attend court, but he declined due to illness.
1. August 28th: After the Korean envoys' audience at the castle was completed, a general attendance was ordered for celebration, but due to illness, attendance at court was declined. As a gesture of celebration, envoy and guard captain Shimada Shichirōzaemon (Shigenori) was sent to the senior councilors and chamberlains.
1. September 3rd: For the Chrysanthemum Festival celebration, kosode robes were presented through an envoy as usual.
The same (30 pieces of silver) was presented to the young lord.
1. October 27th: Yamato-no-kami (Naonori) was appointed to the lower rank of chamberlain.
1. November 15th: There was a hair-binding ceremony celebration for Princess Masa.
1. November 19th: Imperial letters and official documents regarding the Chrysanthemum Festival tribute presentation were delivered at the castle, and retainer rewards were given as usual.
1. December 6th: Through an envoy and the Edo residence keeper,
toys (two dolls of Asahina Saburō and Soga Gorō in a strength competition) and one type of delicacy were presented to the young lord.
1. December 22nd: For year-end celebrations, kosode robes were presented through an envoy as usual.
