元禄12年（1699年）
一 正月 前年12月から体調を崩されたため、医師たちが薬を調合してお飲みになったところ、
23日夜に腹痛を起こし、その上激痛が生じたため急いで手術を行ったが、
その後全身の様子が思わしくなく疲労されたため、医師
長島道仙老にお頼みして薬をお飲みになった。
一 2月7日、病気が次第に重くなられた。
一 同月11日辰の刻（午前8時頃）、江戸鳥越屋敷において逝去された（御年39歳）。
一 同月13日夜9時、深川霊岸寺へ葬送された。御法号は

One: First month - Having been unwell since the twelfth month of the previous year, the physicians prepared medicine which he took, but
on the night of the 23rd he suffered abdominal pain and severe agony, so surgery was quickly performed, however
his overall condition remained poor and he became exhausted, so the physician
Elder Nagashima Dōsen was consulted and medicine was administered.
One: On the 7th day of the second month, his illness gradually worsened.
One: On the 11th day of the same month at the hour of the Dragon (around 8 AM), he passed away at the Edo Torigoe residence (at the age of 39).
