是ハ毎月壱ヶ月吉凶を主どる宿也たとへハ天保五歳
正月之下二正月小建丙寅参宿値月とあり又二月大建
丁卯井宿とばかり略して記せり是も廿八宿を一宿ツゝ十二ヶ月に
配当して其月々の吉凶を占ふ為二記せし物也
地震之図説
凡（ヲヨソ）地（チ）ハ原気の渣滓（カス）なり聚（アズマ）りて形質（カタチ）をなす物ニして

This refers to the "lodge" (shuku, one of the twenty-eight lunar mansions) that governs the auspiciousness or inauspiciousness of each month. For example, in the column for the First Month of Tenpō 5 (1834), it is written: "First Month, small month, construction stem Hinoe-Tora [C3], Mansion: Shǐ (參宿/Orion), Value Month." For the Second Month, it is abbreviated simply as: "Large month, construction stem Hinoto-U [D4], Mansion: Jǐng (井宿/Gemini)." This too is a record made for the purpose of divining the auspiciousness or inauspiciousness of each month, by assigning each of the twenty-eight lunar mansions, one by one, across the twelve months.

In general, the earth is formed from the dregs (residue) of primordial qi (the fundamental vital force of all things), which gather together to form substance and shape.
