He entered the castle and performed guard duty.
One: In the 8th month of Bunsei 1 (1818), he was appointed as a unit commander (monotō).
One: On the 1st day of the 9th month of the same year, he received the custody of Saka Sagorō from the Sugita Ukon residence and transferred him to the Suzuki Sakuemon residence on the last day of the same month.
One: In the 10th month of Bunsei 3 (1820), he went up to Edo for regular duty service, and in the 5th month of the following year, he accompanied the lord's return journey.
One: In the 2nd month of Bunsei 4 (1821), he was assigned to guard the front main gate for the bridal procession.
One: In the same month, he was appointed as a messenger from Tokugawa Uemon-sama to Tayasu Chūnagon-sama.
One: In the same month, while on regular duty, he was temporarily appointed to concurrently serve as master of ceremonies (sōjaban).
