一 同七年午年三月 割場内で出火があった際、早速駆けつけ火
防方をはじめ諸帳記付方等に精を出して働いたとおっしゃられたこと
一 同年五月 教場立添手伝勤を仰せ付けられたこと
一 同八年未年二月 教場の振合が変わったため、立添
手伝勤を免じられ、これまで精を出して勤めたとおっしゃられたこと
一 同月 武講懸り勤を仰せ付けられた
ただし文化十年酉八月、願いの通り免じられたこと
一 同年三月 追廻し遠丁目当打ならびに役銃中ともに
詳しく吟味し、これまで教場立添手伝相勤めた形をもって田中鉄次郎へ
承り合い相勤めるよう仰せ出されたこと

一 文政元年寅年八月
公儀においてご誕生があり、「喜」の字が差し障りとなるため、願いの通り起四郎
と改名したこと
一 同四年巳年九月 武備の筋において実用に修行が行き届いた
人材を取り立てることについて、武講へ罷り出て御軍事奉行へ厚く
申し談じ世話をすること。もっとも熟談に及び難い筋もあれば
一名をもって皆共方へ申し出るよう、かつまた折々教場へも罷り
出て存じ寄りの筋もあれば申し談ずべき旨を仰せ出されたこと

One: In the 3rd month of the 7th year, year of the Horse: When a fire broke out inside the Wariba (administrative office), he rushed there immediately and worked diligently in firefighting and in recording various registers and ledgers, for which he received commendation.
One: In the 5th month of the same year: He was appointed to assist as an attendant instructor (tatesoé tedai) at the training hall (kyōjō).
One: In the 2nd month of the 8th year, year of the Sheep: Due to a reorganization of the training hall's operations, he was relieved of his duties as attendant instructor, and it was proclaimed that he had served diligently up to that point.
One: In the same month: He was appointed to serve in charge of the military lecture (Bukō kakari).
Note: In the 8th month of Bunka 10, year of the Rooster, he was relieved as requested.
One: In the 3rd month of the same year: After thorough investigation of the roles of long-distance target shooting (tōchōme atōchi) and service rifles (yakujū) among the trainees, he was ordered to consult with Tanaka Tetsujirō and carry out his duties in the manner of his previous role as attendant instructor at the training hall.
Note: In the 9th month of the same year, he was relieved as requested.
One: In the 8th month of Bunsei 1, year of the Tiger: Due to a birth in the Tokugawa Shogunate (public authority), the character "Ki" (喜) became problematic, and he changed his name to Kishirō as requested.
One: In the 9th month of the 4th year, year of the Snake: Regarding the cultivation of talented individuals who had achieved practical proficiency in military preparedness, he was ordered to appear at the military lecture (Bukō), consult thoroughly with the military magistrate (Gunjī bugyō), and offer assistance. Furthermore, if there were matters difficult to settle in discussion, he should report them to the group through a single representative. Additionally, he should appear at the training hall from time to time and, if he had any thoughts or suggestions, should discuss them accordingly.
