— [continued from previous page] he had been serving in this appointment, when on the 15th day of the 8th month of the same year, he was appointed as a messenger (*go-tsukai*) to Takamatsu in Sanshū [Sanuki Province, present-day Kagawa Prefecture]. He departed at dawn in an auspicious direction (*ushitora* direction, i.e., the northeast), and returned on the 24th day of the 9th month of the same year.
One entry: On the last day (*misoka*) of the same month, he was appointed as *Sadame Tachiai* for the *[go-]㫪ya*, and carried out his duties through the 1st month of the following year [year of the Rabbit].
One entry: 11th month of the same 20th year [Kyōhō 20 / Genbun 1, 1735], the year of the Rabbit, he was additionally appointed (*kanerole*) to the duty of *Go-Motoyui Go-yō* (managing hair-cord/formal cord matters).
