現代語訳
一、同年（文化十三年・1816年）四月、御上京（※1）を仰せ蒙られたことにつき、御道中・御往来ともに御供を仕った。
一、同十四丑年（文化十四年・1817年）十月、操練（※2）に出精して励んだことにつき、御褒美として新身の槍一穂（※3）を下し置かれる旨を仰せ出された。
一、文政元寅年（1818年）九月、御参勤（※4）の節、御見送りのため赤井村（※5）まで御戸番（※6）仮役を仰せ付けられた。
一、同年十二月、三ノ丸教場（※7）における稽古において、列伍・足並み等が揃い、三ヶ年をかけて上等の位に相進んだ段、出精を致したことにつき、仲ヶ間一同を御称美なされ、御酒を下し置かれる旨を仰せ出された。

Item: In the 4th month of the same year [Bunka 13, 1816], upon the occasion of the lord's journey to Kyoto (御上京), he served as escort (御供) for both the outward and return journeys.
Item: In the 10th month of the 14th year of Bunka, the Year of the Ox [1817], because he had applied himself diligently to military drills (操練), it was proclaimed that he would be awarded one new spearhead (新身の槍一穂) as a reward for his meritorious conduct.
Item: In the 9th month of the 1st year of Bunsei, the Year of the Tiger [1818], on the occasion of the lord's alternate-attendance journey (御参勤), he was temporarily appointed to the role of gate guard (御戸番仮役) as far as Akai Village (赤井村) for the purpose of seeing off the procession.
Item: In the 12th month of the same year, regarding the training exercises at the Third Citadel Training Hall (三ノ丸教場), the formation, alignment of ranks, and coordination of steps were well-ordered, and it was proclaimed that because he had applied himself with great diligence in advancing to the highest rank over a period of three years, his entire barracks companions (仲ヶ間) were commended and were to be presented with ceremonial sake (御酒).
