現代語訳
一、同年（明和元年）四月
土津様の御神輿ならびに御神器品々の御用を、細々と心を尽くして精を出して勤めたことにつき、御褒美として金二分を下し置かれた事。
一、明和二酉年（1765年）十二月、吟味所の増加金の請払定任役を仰せ付けられ、手の空いている時には定和（定例の業務）をも勤めるよう仰せ付けられ、増加金のうちから年々金二両ずつ下し置かれた事。
一、同八卯年（1771年）正月、算術に秀で、かつ先祖に由緒ある者であることにより、いずれも重き義（理由）とは言えども、独礼を仰せ付けられ、席は小林金左衛門の次と仰せ付けられた旨、仰せ出された事。
一、同年三月、吟味所改役の当座仮役を仰せ付けられ、同十一月まで勤め、定例の丁銀三枚の割をもって下し置かれた事。
但し、増加金定任役はこれまでの通り勤めるよう仰せ聞かされた事。
一、安永五申年（1776年）二月二十三日、病死。法（号は次頁へ続く）

One: In the fourth month of the same year (Meiwa 1, 1764), for having devoted himself wholeheartedly and diligently to the various duties related to the sacred palanquin (mikoshi) and sacred implements (shinki) of Lord Haniwa-sama (Tsuchitsu-sama), he was granted a reward of two bu in gold.
One: In the twelfth month of Meiwa 2, the Year of the Rooster (1765), he was appointed to the permanent post of receipts-and-disbursements officer (ukebara-sadanin-yaku) for the supplementary funds (zōkkin) of the Gimmisho (Investigative Office). He was also instructed to carry out routine administrative duties (sadawa) during any idle periods, and was granted two ryō in gold annually from within the supplementary funds.
One: In the first month of Meiwa 8, the Year of the Rabbit (1771), on account of his excellence in arithmetic (sanjutsu) and his distinguished ancestral lineage, and considering both as weighty grounds, he was granted the rank of Dokurei (the privilege of making solo formal salutations to the lord), and was informed by proclamation that his seat position was to be ranked immediately after that of Kobayashi Kinzaemon.
One: In the third month of the same year, he was appointed to the temporary post of Kaisho (reform officer) at the Gimmisho on an interim basis, serving until the eleventh month of the same year, and was granted payment at the fixed rate of three monme of chōgin silver.
Note: He was instructed to continue performing his permanent post duties regarding the supplementary funds as before.
