一 同六巳年正月数年精出相勤
御内用を始臨時之御用多端之処
壱人役ニ付別而致勤労且御省略と

現代語訳
一、同六年（文化六年）巳年正月、数年にわたり精を出して相勤め、御内用をはじめ臨時の御用が多端であるところ、一人役であるにもかかわらず、とりわけ勤労を致し、かつ御省略とともに任じられ、細々と心を附けて相勤めたにつき、御褒美として麻御上下の代わりに晒一反・銀子三枚を下し置かれた事。
一、同年三月、常詰御用所組頭の交代（※）を成し替えられたにつき、会津勝手を仰せ付けられ、直ちに当春より勤番を相勤め、秋中に交代（※）して罷り下るよう仰せ付けられた事。
一、同年九月、数年にわたり精を出して相勤め、御内用向き並びに御内証方をはじめ、品々大振りな掛かり御用をも宜しく取り計らい、かつ勤番をも滞りなく相勤めたにつき、あれこれ格別の訳をもって、常上下格に成し下された事。
一、同七年（文化七年）午年三月、願いの通り、倅（せがれ）仁和吉を御番代に仰せ付けられた事。
一、同八年（文化八年）未年三月、願いの通り、隠居を仰せ付けられた事。

One item: In the first month of the sixth year (Bunka 6, 1809, the year of the Snake), having diligently served over many years, with both regular internal duties (go-naiyō) and numerous ad hoc duties being extremely demanding, and having served with particular diligence despite being a one-man post, while also attending carefully to minute details in keeping with the ongoing austerity measures, he was granted, as a reward, one bolt of bleached cloth (sarashi) in lieu of a ceremonial hemp *kamishimo* ensemble, along with three pieces of silver.
One item: In the third month of the same year, as the rotation (※) of the Group Leader of the Permanent Duty Office was being carried out, he was assigned to the Aizu domestic service (Aizu katte), and it was declared that he should immediately begin his duty rotation (kinban) from that spring, and return after being rotated out (※) in the autumn.
One item: In the ninth month of the same year, having diligently served over many years, having competently managed the internal affairs duties (go-naiyō-muki) as well as the confidential financial matters (go-naishō-kata) and various large-scale assigned duties, and having fulfilled his rotation duties without delay, it was declared that, in recognition of all of this and by special consideration, he was raised to the rank of *jō-kamishimo* (ordinary formal dress rank).
One item: In the third month of the seventh year (Bunka 7, 1810, the year of the Horse), in accordance with his petition, his son Niwakichi was appointed as his duty replacement (o-bandai).
One item: In the third month of the eighth year (Bunka 8, 1811, the year of the Sheep/Goat), in accordance with his petition, he was granted permission to retire (inkyo).
