現代語訳
（前ページより続き）登り、同十月に罷り下った事。
一、同年（文政十三年）九月、陣中において不参なく精を出して相勤めた段を仰せ出された事。
一、同年十二月、三ノ丸教場における合体稽古の儀において、列伍の足並みなどが整い、当年上等へと進んだことは、精を出した故と思し召された旨、仲間一同にご賞美をいただいた事。
一、同十四年（文政十四年・丑年）八月、追鳥狩に罷り出た事。
但し、この後、合隊稽古の節とも、都合二度罷り出た事。
一、同年十月、当該追鳥狩の儀において、御場が転じ手始めの儀であったところ、列伍の足並みが格別に整い、隊々が連属して運用が滞りなく行われた段は、かねてより合隊稽古に精を出した故と思し召された旨、仲間一同にご賞美をいただいた。
但し、この後も毎度ご賞美をいただいた事。
一、同月、操練に精を出し励んだことにより、ご褒美として新身の鎗一穂を下し置かれた事。

Item: In the ninth month of the same year (Bunsei 13), it was declared that he had served diligently without absence during the field encampment (*jinchū*).
Item: In the twelfth month of the same year, at the combined drill (*gattai keiko*) held at the Sannomaru training ground (*kyōjō*), the formation and marching were well-ordered, and the unit had advanced to the upper ranking (*jōtō*) for that year. It was declared that this was owing to diligent effort, and the entire group of comrades was commended.
Item: In the eighth month of Bunsei 14 (Year of the Ox), he turned out for the falconry hunt (*oidorikari*).
Note: After this, he also turned out on occasions of combined unit drills (*gōtai keiko*), for a total of two occasions.
Item: In the tenth month of the same year, at the said falconry hunt, although the hunting ground had been changed and it was the first time operations were held there, the formation and marching were exceptionally well-ordered, the units maintained close coordination, and operations proceeded without hindrance. It was declared that this was owing to the group's diligent practice of combined unit drills, and the entire group of comrades was commended.
Note: Thereafter, the group received commendations on every occasion.
Item: In the same month, in recognition of his diligent and devoted efforts in military drills (*sōren*), he was awarded one new spear blade (*shinmi no yari ippō*) as a reward.
