一御城内え入候供之者
侍四人内側二人 徒士壱人草り取壱人

一御城代玄関え各罷越山里加番何も
之名を申用人え逢申度之旨取次え申入
通候得は用人出候付安否相尋相応之
口上申之宣申上呉候様にと山里加番一同
申込暫時有之向加番衆大番頭衆町
奉行衆御目付衆何も追々被参三町人
罷越挨拶致取持候
一江戸え今日差下候次飛脚之連状按
文用人呼出山里加番差出候持入暫時
有之用人出被致一覧之由に而相返ス御数
寄も無之哉と致挨拶候御城代被出候席
之儀見置度由申向加番同道に而罷越候事
但連状は旅宿に而認之前方に判取置可
申事
一用人案内に而座敷え通刀持参

会釈候而少シ進ミ
上々様益御機嫌見恐悦之旨申述御城代挨
拶有之候は元之席へ退此度御加番被
仰付難有奉存候御手前様弥々堅達被成
御在勤珍重之由申述之図之所へ出扇子ヲ

一、城代の玄関に各々出向き、「高遠加番の何某」と
名乗り、用人に会いたい旨を取次に申し入れる。
通されると用人が出てくるので、安否を尋ね、適当な
口上を述べ、よろしくお伝えください、と高遠加番一同で
申し込む。しばらくすると、向加番衆、大番頭衆、町
奉行衆、目付衆なども次々に参り、三人
が出向いて挨拶を行い、取り持つ。
一、江戸へ今日差し下す次の飛脚の連絡状の案
文を用人が呼び出し、高遠加番が差し出す。持ち込んでしばらく
すると用人が出て一覧したとのことで返される。「ご多忙で
はございませんか」と挨拶をする。城代がお出ましになる席の
件について見ておきたいとのことで、向加番と同道で出向く。
ただし連絡状は旅宿で書き、前もって印を取っておくべき
こと
一、用人の案内で座敷に通される。刀を持参する。

一、城代がお出ましになると立ち上がり、高遠加番が相番衆に軽く
会釈してから少し進み、
「上様におかれましてはますますご機嫌麗しく、恐悦の至りです」と申し述べ、城代が挨
拶されると元の席へ戻る。「この度加番を
仰せ付けられ、ありがたく存じます。お手前様もますます堅固にお勤めを
なされ、珍重のことです」と申し述べる図の所で扇子を

1. Each person goes to the castle commissioner's entrance, announces themselves as "so-and-so of the Takato guard duty," and requests through an intermediary to meet with the administrator. When admitted, the administrator comes out, whereupon they inquire about each other's well-being, make appropriate formal remarks, and request that regards be conveyed on behalf of all the Takato guard duty personnel. After a while, the opposite guard duty group, head guards, town magistrates, inspectors and others arrive one after another, and three people go out to exchange greetings and act as intermediaries.
1. Regarding the draft of a communication letter for the next express messenger to be sent down to Edo today: the administrator calls out and the Takato guard duty presents it. After bringing it in and waiting briefly, the administrator comes out and returns it, saying it has been reviewed. They exchange pleasantries asking "Are you not too busy?" Regarding the matter of the seating when the castle commissioner appears, they wish to observe it, so they go together with the opposite guard duty.
Note: The communication letter should be written at the lodging and stamped in advance.

When the castle commissioner appears, they stand up, the Takato guard duty lightly bows to their counterpart guards, then advances slightly and states: "His Lordship is in increasingly good spirits, which is most gratifying." When the castle commissioner responds with greetings, they return to their original seats. At the point in the diagram where they state "We are grateful to have been appointed to guard duty this time. Your honor continues to serve most diligently, which is admirable," they produce a fan.
