せり実に可悪可畏は無膓子なり寿老人西崗恭助子も復仁
慈の心より三たひ建碑を企てられたれは不遠して成功に
至るべし群馬県にて此水を分析せし成績は左の如し我妻
郡草津村黒岩忠四郎並山本十一郎より分析出願の鉱水は
固形物一「リーテル」中二、一五「グラム」ト少量の硫化水素亜硫
酸遊離硫酸及遊離塩酸を含有し而して其固形物は主に硫

した。実にけしからず恐ろしいのは道徳心のない者である。寿老人西岡恭助子もまた仁慈の心から三度目の建碑を企画されたので、遠からず成功に至るであろう。群馬県でこの水を分析した成績は次の通りである。我妻郡草津村黒岩忠四郎並びに山本十一郎より分析出願の鉱水は、固形物一リットル中二・一五グラムと少量の硫化水素、亜硫酸、遊離硫酸及び遊離塩酸を含有し、そしてその固形物は主に硫酸礬土、硫酸苦土、硫酸石灰、硫酸亜酸化鉄及び硫酸亜児加里を含むので、鉱泉として用いることはできるが、飲料として用いてはならない。

The results of water analysis conducted by Gunma Prefecture are as follows: The mineral water submitted for analysis by Kuroiwa Chūshirō and Yamamoto Jūichirō of Kusatsu Village, Agatsuma County, contains 2.15 grams of solid matter per liter, along with small amounts of hydrogen sulfide, sulfurous acid, free sulfuric acid, and free hydrochloric acid. The solid matter mainly contains aluminum sulfate, magnesium sulfate, calcium sulfate, ferrous sulfate, and potassium sulfate. Therefore, while it may be used as mineral spring water, it must not be used as drinking water.

Kogai Pond: A small pond located at the northern foot of Shirane. There are small floating islands in the pond - the large ones are about twenty shaku, the small ones about ten shaku, and their location is not fixed as they float with the wind. There is a theory that the reference to "Daimyōjin" (Great Deity) refers to the worship of this pond.
