Those summoned to service during Lord Mitsumichi's reign
△ Tsuneoka
《Summoned during Lord Mitsumichi's reign, in the Keian era》
●Tsuneoka Yukie Munesuke 《Original domain unknown, birthplace: Yamashiro|family name unknown》
His ancestor, a man named Tsuneoka Genzaburo, served Ashikaga Tadafuyu and distinguished himself in military service during the battles in Kyoto. Two letters of commendation from Tadafuyu from the 9th and 10th years of Shohei still exist today. Munehisa's grandfather, Tsuneoka Genba, died in battle at Sekigahara. His father, Tsuneoka Kyuemon, was in poor health, lived in seclusion, and died as a masterless samurai. Munehisa's elder brother, Tsuneoka Shumanosuke Hisayuki, was summoned to service during Lord Tadamasa's reign and, by his lordship's will, inherited the Ajioka family name and was called Ajioka Jinzaemon. Munehisa was initially summoned by Lord Masakatsu, but later Lord Mitsumichi took him into service and gradually increased his stipend. Due to Lord Mitsumichi's great benevolence, after Lord Mitsumichi's death, he became a monk with the Buddhist name Zangi Hōshi and secluded himself at Mount Koya in Kii Province.
