おもふべからず
福徳（ふくとく）をうち出（で）の槌（つち）は何（なに）よりも
我慢（がまん）の鼻（はな）をひしぐ事（こと）なり
おしへの小槌巻上 畢

れば、耳を取って鼻をかむようなおかしな教えだと思ってはならない。
福徳を打ち出の小槌は何よりも
我慢の鼻をへし折ることである

If so, do not think this is a foolish teaching like taking one's ear to blow one's nose.
