一夜番之義先季ゟ宮坂村鉾持町一緒
相務申候処此度宮坂村ゟ御上江願出
申候ニ付鉾持町ゟも其次願申候所
喜多屋与右衛門殿御扱被成被下致承知則
与右衛門殿被仰候通ニ相持居双方相互ニ
用心之義ニ御座候間致和合只今迄之通
夜番一覧ニ相務可申候火之廻り之義は
宮坂村迄相廻シ可申候万一相違御座候ハヽ
御届ヶ可被下候為後日仍而書違如件

書面相違一札の事
一、夜番の件につきまして、昨季より宮坂村と鉾持町が一緒に務めてまいりましたところ、この度宮坂村より役所へ願い出がございましたので、鉾持町からもその次第を願い出ましたところ、喜多屋与右衛門殿にお取り計らいいただき、承知いたしました。つきましては与右衛門殿がおっしゃった通りに双方が互いに用心することでございますので、和解いたし、今まで通り夜番を一緒に務めさせていただきます。火の見回りにつきましては、宮坂村まで回らせていただきます。万一相違がございましたら、お届けくださいませ。後日のため、よって書面相違は以上の通りです。

Document of Agreement
Regarding the matter of night watch duties, Miyasaka Village and Hokomochi Town have been performing these duties together since last season. Recently, Miyasaka Village submitted a petition to the authorities, so Hokomochi Town also submitted a petition regarding this matter. Kitaya Yoemon has mediated this matter and we have reached an understanding. As Yoemon instructed, both parties shall remain vigilant with each other, make peace, and continue to perform night watch duties together as before. Regarding fire patrol rounds, we shall extend the rounds to include Miyasaka Village. Should any disagreements arise, please report them to the authorities. This document of agreement is executed for future reference.
