書違一札之事
一火之用心夜番所当村宮坂ゟ其御町内江
相勤申候処ニ其御町内ゟ当村火之廻り遅滞
被成候ニ付此度願出申候処ニ喜多屋与右衛門殿
御救被下双方火之用心之義ニ御座候ニ付致
和合地方町方無差別只今迄之通相勤
其御町内ゟも宮坂村之内御廻シ可被成由相極り
申候然上ハ此方ゟ相違御座候ハヽ村役人方迄
御届ヶ可被成候其元ゟ相定相違被成候ハヽ御町内
御役人中迄御届ヶ可申候為後日書違証文

書面相違に関する一札の件
一、火の用心夜番所を当村宮坂から貴町内へ勤めに参っておりましたが、貴町内から当村への火の見回りが遅れがちになっているため、この度お願い申し上げましたところ、喜多屋与右衛門殿にお救いいただき、双方の火の用心の件でございますので、和合いたし、地方・町方の区別なく今まで通り勤めることとし、貴町内からも宮坂村内をお回りいただくということに決まりました。その上は、こちらから約束違いがございましたら村役人方までお届けください。そちらから定められた約束に違いがございましたら、貴町内の役人中までお届け申し上げます。後日のための書面相違証文として、よって件の如し。

Document Regarding Written Agreement
Regarding the matter of fire prevention night watch duties: Our village of Miyasaka has been performing night watch services for your town district. However, since the fire patrol rounds from your town district to our village have been delayed, we petitioned about this matter. Thanks to the assistance of Mr. Kitaya Yoemon, since this concerns fire prevention for both parties, we have reached an accord. Without distinction between rural and urban areas, we will continue duties as before, and your town district will also conduct patrols within Miyasaka village as agreed upon. Should there be any violations from our side, please report to our village officials. Should there be any violations of the agreement from your side, we will report to the officials of your town district. This serves as written proof of our agreement for future reference. Thus as stated herein.
