ただし、右につき御勤めの儀は、公儀の御忌明けの上、仰せ上げらるべき旨、
御同所留守居より廻達があった。
一、三月八日 一位様御逝去につき、
公方様・大納言様の御機嫌を伺うため、江戸表へ御使者として御先物頭・加賀九郎右衛門（時照）を差し出された。（去月二十九日の御触達により）今日、福井を出立した。
一、同月十三日
王子御降誕につき年号改元が仰せ出された段、所司代・土岐丹後守（頼稔）殿において御書付をもって申し聞かされた旨、京都御留守居・河村源五右衛門（氏康）より御国表へ達せられた。

一、同月二十二日、福井を御発駕、東海道通りにて御旅行（江戸へ向かわれた）。

Item: 8th day of the 3rd month. In connection with the passing of Lady Ichii (Ichii-no-Tsubone), a messenger was dispatched to Edo to inquire after the well-being of the Shōgun and the Lord Great Counselor (Dainagon). The messenger was the Senior Rifle Commander (osaki mono-gashira) Kaga Kurōemon (Tokiteru). (The order for this mission had been issued on the 29th of the previous month.) He departed Fukui this day.
Item: 13th day of the same month. Regarding the announcement that the era name had been changed on account of the birth of a prince, the Kyoto Deputy (Shoshidai) Toki Tango-no-Kami (Yoritoshi) communicated this by written notice. The Kyoto resident agent (rusuí) Kawamura Gengorōemon (Ujiyasu) forwarded this information to the home domain.
Item: 15th day of the same month. In connection with the memorial service (tōza hōji) for Lady Ten'ei-in at Zōjōji Temple, the Senior Unit Commander (mono-gashira) Nakamura Tarōzaemon (Masatsune) was sent as messenger to offer three silver coins as incense money (kōden), which were deposited in the main hall of the temple.
Item: On the same day, the messenger Kaga Kurōemon (Tokiteru), who had been dispatched in connection with the passing of Lady Ten'ei-in, arrived in Edo, appeared before the duty officer (goyōban), and presented the letter.
Item: 17th day of the same month. In connection with the same matter (Lady Ten'ei-in's passing), and to inquire after the well-being of those in mourning (mōchū), one set of cypress-wood tiered boxes (hinoki-jū) was offered by means of a written communication. (This was per the directive issued on the 29th of the previous month.)
Item: 22nd day of the same month. Departed Fukui, travelling via the Tōkaidō road (toward Edo).
Item: 6th day of the 4th month. During the journey, His Lordship was delayed due to the Ōigawa River being in flood, and arrived in Edo on the following 7th day.
