番江罷出御書指出之
一 同日於評定所御家中倹約之儀ニ付月番御家老松平
主馬《割書：正｜明》左之通書付を以諸月番江申渡之
倹約之儀毎度被 仰出候然処其趣を不要美食
大酒等其外参会之節も御定ニ者はつれ申族ニ
有之様相聞候以後急度相慎候様被 仰出候面々
可被存其旨候以上

一 同月廿一日歳暮御祝儀御献上ニ付而之御内書并御奉書
於 御城御渡有之御家来拝領物等如例
一 同月廿六日御書を以例之通御国産干鰈被献之
一 同月廿七日蟇目山江為御兎狩 御出被成
一 三月五日去ル三日為上巳御祝儀諸大名御登 城之処松平
安芸守《割書：吉｜長》殿居残ニ而年号寛保之改元被 仰出候旨御用番
松平将監《割書：乗｜邑》殿御達有之候旨安芸守殿ゟ御廻達有之

（前ページより続き）その旨を治右衛門へ御家老が申し渡した。
一、二月十一日
竹千代様の御袴着の御祝いの御使者として〔派遣された〕水野藤兵衛（宗■）が江戸に着き、御用番へ罷り出て御書を差し出した。
一、同日、評定所において御家中の倹約の儀につき、月番御家老・松平主馬（正明）が以下の書付をもって諸月番へ申し渡した。
倹約の儀については毎度仰せ出されているにもかかわらず、その趣を顧みず、美食・大酒など、その他参会の際にも御定めから外れている者があると聞き及んでいる。以後、急度相慎むよう仰せ出されたので、面々はその旨を心得るべきである。以上。
二月十一日
一、同月二十一日、歳暮御祝儀の御献上につきての御内書ならびに御奉書が、御城において御渡しがあり、御家来の拝領物等は例の通りであった。
一、同月二十六日、御書をもって例の通り、御国産の干し鰈〔ひらめ〕が献上された。
一、同月二十七日、蟇目山へ御兎狩りのため御出かけになった。
一、三月五日、去る三日に上巳の御祝儀のため諸大名が御登城されたところ、松平安芸守（吉長）殿が居残りとなり、年号を寛保と改元する旨が仰せ出された旨、御用番・松平将監（乗邑）殿より御達しがあった由を、安芸守殿より御廻達があった。

Mizuno Tōbei (Mune-■), who had been dispatched as messenger to offer congratulations upon Lord Takechiyo's hakamagi ceremony, arrived in Edo, appeared before the duty official (goyōban), and presented the letter.
Item: On the same day, at the Council Chamber (hyōjōsho), regarding the matter of frugality among the domain's retainers, the monthly duty Elder (tsukiban karō) Matsudaira Shume (Masamei/Shōmei) issued the following written notice to the various monthly duty officials:
Although the observance of frugality has been repeatedly ordered, it has been heard that there are those who disregard these instructions and indulge in fine food and heavy drinking, and who likewise depart from the established regulations at social gatherings. It is hereby commanded that henceforth everyone shall strictly conduct themselves with restraint. All personnel are to take heed of this notice. Respectfully.

Item: On the 21st day of the same month, an inner letter (o-uchisho) and formal letter (o-bunsho) were presented at the castle regarding the presentation of year-end congratulatory offerings, and the gifts bestowed upon the retainers were as customary.
Item: On the 26th day of the same month, by written order, dried flatfish (hoshi-karei), the domain's local product, was presented as customary.
Item: On the 27th day of the same month, His Lordship departed for Mount Hikime for a rabbit hunt.
Item: On the 5th day of the 3rd month, it was reported that when the various daimyo had gone to the castle on the 3rd to offer congratulations for the Jōshi (Hinamatsuri) festival, Matsudaira Aki-no-kami (Yoshinaga) was held back, and a notification was received from Matsudaira Shōgen (Norimuera/Jōyū), the duty official, that it had been proclaimed that the era name was to be changed to Kanpō. This notification was then circulated by Aki-no-kami.
