一三八二四となる。これに三三をかけると四五六一九二となる。これに円（まる）の法八をかけると三六四九五三六となる。これに古ますの法十六をかけると、五斗四升四合になる。
○口（くち）九寸を左右に置いてかけると八一となる。これに〔深さ〕……になる。これに円法八をかけると一九四四となる。これにますの法十六をかけると、三升一合一勺となる。

巻頭の七枚半が欠損している。

gives 13,824. Multiplying this by 33 gives 456,192. Multiplying this by the circular constant (円法) 8 gives 3,649,536. Multiplying this by the old measure-vessel constant (古ます法) 16 gives 5 to 4 shō 4 gō.
○ Placing the mouth (opening) diameter of 9 sun on both sides and multiplying gives 81. [Multiplying by the depth] …gives [a subtotal]. Multiplying this by the circular constant 8 gives 1,944. Multiplying this by the measure-vessel constant 16 gives 3 shō 1 gō 1 shaku.

This book is a variant edition (異板) of the *Jinkōki*, the Kan'ei 4th year [1627] edition, consisting of four volumes in 26 sections (条); it is a volume binding together Volume 1 (巻の第一) and Volume 2 (巻の第二).
The first seven and a half folios at the beginning of the volume are missing.
The characters in the hanshingara (版心, the center fold of each leaf) and the number of folios in each section (条) are as follows:

According to Hirayama Satoshi's chronological table, this is the 2nd [variant edition] published between Kan'ei 4 (1627) and Kan'ei 8 (1631).
Although this book belongs to the 26-section edition, Section 20, "On Timber" (材木の事), is missing.
[Note: Since this book is a combined volume of Volumes 1 and 2, it is natural that "On Timber," which is included in Volume 3, is absent. However, it is unclear whether the author of this note considers the lower volumes (巻下), comprising Volumes 3 and 4, to also be part of "this book."]
