One: In the fourth year of the same era (Year of the Rabbit, *Bō*), in the seventh month, he was appointed as a minor official (*ko-yakunin*) of the Finance Office (*go-kanjōsho*). The two *ryō* in compensation for hardship (*honeori-ryō*) that had been granted to him until that time was converted into two *ryō* of *go-gisaku-kin* (a type of stipend), and one *ryō* and three *bu* of official duty stipend (*go-yakuryō*) was granted.
In the sixth year of the same era (Year of the Snake, *Mi*), in the third month, due to an investigation into missing gold from both treasury chambers (*go-nando*), he was ordered to serve as a minor official and conduct an accounting investigation of the treasury.
One: In the eighth month of the same year, as Ezo (Hokkaido) had been incorporated as domain/national territory (*go-kuni*), and official duties were numerous,

he was recognized for his diligent service despite the heavy workload.
One: In the seventh year of the same era (Year of the Horse, *Uma*), in the eighth month, due to difficulties in investigating the handling of various financial instruments (*te-gata*) at the Edo residence, and accounting matters going back some time, he was ordered to be sent up to Edo on an impromptu duty rotation (*fuji ni kinban*). He was instructed to depart for Edo as soon as his preparations were complete, and to inquire in Edo regarding the specifics of his duties including all attached conditions (*ishizuki*). He departed on the second day of the ninth month of the same year and traveled up to Edo.
One: In the tenth month of the same year, in Edo, he was additionally appointed to the *go-bun'ki-kata* (regulatory/accounting division)...
