三卿の間(あいだ)に縁座(えんざ)に着き、御棚の供物等の啓文(けいもん)を読み申す(この時、精進頭人は平伏する。ただし一人ずつ)。目代々が読み終えたら退下する。次に祠官が座を起ち退去する(神馬屋の北辺にて、明日の案内を三度申す)。御棚は改文(かいぶん)が終わった後に撤する(上三卿の分は神主へ、下三卿の分は目代へ)。頂戴する。
十四日 御棚会 各社(某社)
御棚発遣の後、片岡・大田・奈良・沢田・氏神の両官は、土屋より直接それぞれの社へ参向する。これはもっぱら庭上の神供である(ただし、籠笥〔かごけ〕は夫婦で持ち来る)。転供(てんぐ)が安籠笥(あんかごけ)の神供を庭上の土居(どい)の根(ふもと)に置く。次に両官が円座に着き、まず二拝する。次に転供が幣を祠官に三捧ずつ授ける。先に禰宜、次に祝、各三捧ずつ。次に両官が奉幣し、次に祝詞を奏する。以上の拝が終わったら、直ちに土居を進み、大床(おおゆか)に昇り、八字(はちじ)に立つ。禰宜は禰宜方に、祝は祝方にそれぞれ大床に立ち、一揖(いちゆう)して階(きざはし)を降り、土居において一拝する。

本座に戻り二拝が終わった後、次に転供が幣を撤し、操々(さわさわ)とまとめて籠笥に入れる。もっとも庭上が狭い場所においては、奉幣が終わり次第、両官は籠笥の内、向かい合う方向に横にやり違いに置き、その後転供が撤する(もっとも籠笥の内へ入れるべきである)。

Between the three nobles (*sankei*), [the *mokudai*] take their seats on the veranda seating (*enza*) and read aloud the *keibun* (啓文, formal announcement) of the offerings of the sacred shelves (*otana*) and so forth (at this time, the *shōjin-tōnin* [abstinence leaders] prostrate themselves, each one in turn). After the *mokudai* finish reading, they withdraw. Next, the shrine officials (*shikan*) rise from their seats and depart (at the north side of the sacred horse stable [*shinmaya*], the notice for the following day is given three times). The sacred shelves (*otana*) are cleared away after the review of the written records (*kaibun*) is completed (the upper three nobles' portion goes to the chief priest [*kannushi*]; the lower three nobles' portion goes to the *mokudai*). These are received with reverence.
The Fourteenth Day: Otana-e at the Various Shrines (*Bōsha*)
After the dispatch of the sacred shelves (*otana hassō*), the two officials of Kataoka, Ōta, Nara, Sawada, and Ujigami proceed directly from the *tsuchiya* to their respective shrines. This is exclusively a divine offering ceremony held in the garden (*niwa-ue*) (however, the offering basket [*kagoke*] is brought by a married couple). The *tengu* (転供, offering-transfer functionary) places the divine offerings from the *an-kagoke* (安籠笥, a type of offering basket on a stand) at the base of the earthen embankment (*doi*) in the garden. Next, the two officials take their seats on the round rush mats (*enza*) and first perform two bows. Then the *tengu* presents the offering wands (*hei*) to the shrine officials, three bundles each: first to the *negi*, then to the *hafuri*, three bundles each. Next, the two officials present the offerings (*hōhei*), and then the *norito* (祝詞, ritual prayers) are recited. After the foregoing bows are completed, they immediately advance over the earthen embankment (*doi*), ascend to the *ōyuka* (大床, main raised platform), and stand in the *hachiji* (八字, figure-eight) formation. The *negi* stands on the *negi* side, and the *hafuri* stands on the *hafuri* side, on the *ōyuka*; they perform one bow (*ichiyū*), descend the steps (*kizahashi*), and perform one bow at the *doi*.

Returning to their original seats and completing two bows, the *tengu* then removes the offering wands (*hei*), gathering them up briskly (*sawasawa to*) and placing them in the offering basket (*kagoke*). However, in places where the garden (*niwa-ue*) is narrow, after the presentation of offerings (*hōhei*) is complete, the two officials place the offering baskets (*kagoke*) facing each other, crossing them horizontally, and thereafter the *tengu* clears them away (it is proper to place them inside the offering basket).
Contents of the *Kagoke* (籠笥, Offering Basket) for the Divine Offerings of the Sacred Shelf (*Otana*)
(The *negi* and *hafuri* alternate duty on a rotating basis. When it is the turn of the *haribān* [guard/watcher], the divine offerings of the *haribān* side's *kagoke* are brought by a married couple of *tōne* [刀禰, shrine functionaries] accompanying them.)
Inside the *kagoke*: coins (*zeni*) from seven *mon* to five *mon*, five bundles of one bundle (*hitokukuri*) each.
