（江戸へ）登城したところ、鳳翔院様の御碑石（墓碑）に関する御用を仰せつけられ、同五月に（会津へ）下り、同十月まで勤めた。
一、同二年（丑年）十月、勤番のため江戸表へ登り、一陣（ひと任期）を勤め下った。
一、同三年（寅年）十月、勤番のため江戸表へ登り、一陣を勤め下った。
一、同四年（卯年）（月日不詳）、新町にて屋敷を下し置かれた。

(Upon arriving in Edo,) he was assigned the duty concerning the memorial stone (grave marker) of Lady Hōshōin, descended (to Aizu) in the fifth month of that year, and served until the tenth month.
One entry: In the second year of the same era (Year of the Ox), in the tenth month, he traveled to Edo for guard duty (kinban), completed one tour of service, and returned.
One entry: In the third year of the same era (Year of the Tiger), in the tenth month, he traveled to Edo for guard duty, completed one tour of service, and returned.
One entry: In the fourth year of the same era (Year of the Rabbit), in a month unknown, he was granted a residence in Shinmachi (New Town district).
