At this time, on the 11th day of the 4th month of Ōan 4 (1371), at the beginning of the hour of the rooster, there was a small corpse slightly downstream from the bridge north of Tanao Shrine. Accordingly, the head priest Hisataka, the senior priest Mitsuhisa, and the assistant priest Tokohisa each reported this, and when they inquired among their subordinates, it was determined that since the body was incomplete (missing limbs), there was no ritual defilement. Next, during Hisataka's time, on the 25th day of the 10th month of Ōan 5 (1372), there was a boundary dispute concerning Mount Kifune, and an imperial decree was issued stating that the matter should be assigned to our shrine. The document states: Regarding the boundary of the Kifune River, as reported by the official messenger, there is no doubt about the eastern section of Ichino Torii River. Although Kurama-ji Temple submitted their opinion to the government offices during the Anwa and Katei eras, some documents lack proper authentication, and some are not relevant to boundary observations, so neither has any basis. Therefore, the area extending to the eastern mountains of Kifune Shrine should be promptly administered [by Kamo Shrine]. Such is the sentiment of the Retired Emperor. Details are as follows. The above, by written statement Ōan 5, 10th month, 25th day Right Middle Captain To the Kamo Head Priest's residence At this time, on the 1st day of the 9th month of Ōan 6 (1373), a great wind blew from evening and continued blowing all night. At the shrine precincts, sacred mountain, sakaki groves, and forests, there were numerous fallen large trees, and the music hall was destroyed. The eaves at the northeast corner of Ōta [Shrine] and the eastern eaves of the worship hall were also destroyed. The roof timber of the First Torii was also blown down. Also during Hisataka's time, around the hour of the tiger on the 5th day of the 10th month of Ōan 6 (1373), there was a fire at Nara Shrine. It was not a spreading fire, and because it was late at night, there was no time to request an imperial visit. The fire spread and burned about four or five ken from the west side of the administrative building. On the eastern side of the interval, people from one shrine gathered and knocked it down. Next, during the shrine administrator's time, four tan of rice fields belonging to Ōmiya village administrator, beside the Kukinuki of Ankyo-in Ōmiya...
