現代語訳
その神主である若光大夫は一七日の間、社家の出仕を停止された。
この時、橋殿の上の小橋を架けた。願主は角田の近江入道（今はタケヘと号する）である。
また此の時、奈良橋を架けた。材木は西の御所より参らせられた。
次にこの神主の時、境内藤木の土蔵を北山へ壊して移した。御稚児の舎兄宮内卿の口入りであるとして上意にて御出があったが叶わなかった。
また此の時、応永九年十一月十九日、遷御があるべきにより勅使が当社に立てられた。宣命には以下のように述べられている。
天皇が詔する旨である。畏き賀茂の皇大神の広前に恐み恐みも申す。宸居の造立は国家の経営なり。旧い基を広げて華を増し、屋を新たに切って美を尽くす。これより以来、日ならずして既に成った。来月十九日に遷御したく思う。風雨難なく、天人共に応じて、御心のごとくに遂げさせる事は、皇大神の御助けにあるべきなりと令行する。故にここに吉日良辰を撰定して、参議正三位讃岐権守藤原朝臣隆信、正五位下左近衛将監藤原朝臣友清を差し使いとして、礼代の大幣を捧持させて奉出し給う。畏き大神よ、この状を平らかに安らかに聞し食して、柱石の基は億載に至り、棟梁の構えは万孫を［継ぎ］、天皇朝廷を宝位動くことなくして常磐堅固に

The head priest Wakamitsu-dayū was suspended from shrine duties for seventeen days.
At this time, a small bridge was built over the bridge hall. The patron was Tsunoda's Ōmi-nyūdō (now called Takeye).
Also at this time, the Nara bridge was built. The timber was provided from the Western Palace.
Next, during this head priest's time, the earthen storehouse of Fujiki within the shrine precincts was dismantled and moved to Kitayama. Although there was an imperial directive saying it was at the intercession of the temple page's elder brother, the Palace Minister, it was not carried out.
Also at this time, on the 19th day of the 11th month of Ōei 9, because there was to be a sacred relocation (sengyo), an imperial messenger was dispatched to this shrine. The imperial edict states as follows:
This is the purport of the Emperor's decree. Before the awesome presence of the Imperial Great Deity of Kamo, with fear and reverence I speak. The construction of the imperial residence is the administration of the state. Expanding the old foundation to increase its splendor, cutting new buildings to perfect their beauty. From this time forth, it has been completed in no time at all. We wish to conduct the sacred relocation on the 19th day of next month. That it be accomplished according to the imperial will, without difficulty from wind and rain, with heaven and humanity responding together, must be through the assistance of the Imperial Great Deity, thus it is decreed. Therefore, selecting and determining auspicious days and favorable times, Sangi Senior Third Rank Sanuki-gon-no-kami Fujiwara-no-ason Takanobu and Senior Fifth Rank Lower Left Konoe-shōgen Fujiwara-no-ason Tomokiyo are dispatched as messengers, bearing the great ritual offerings as ceremonial substitutes. Awesome Great Deity, please receive this petition peacefully and tranquilly, so that the foundation of pillars and stones may last for billions of years, the framework of beams and rafters [continue] for ten thousand generations, and the Emperor's court remain on the treasured throne unmoved and eternally firm.
