【上段】
元禄八年（1695年）五月二十二日付の記録
亥之助様および助三郎様の跡目（家督相続）について、以下のとおり仰せ付けられた。その御書付の写しを左に記す。
「伊達助三郎殿の跡目は、相違なく小梁川亥之助に相続するよう仰せ付けられた」との御意（藩主のお言葉）である。
右の件について、遠山帯刀殿・富塚長門殿が五月二十二日に助三郎様の御屋敷へお出向きになり、（右の旨を）お伝えになり、吸物等も振る舞われたとのことである。
同年五月二十二日、亥之助様の跡目については村田城之助様が仰せ付けられた。その写しを左に記す。

「小梁川亥之助が伊達助三郎殿の跡目に仰せ付けられたことに伴い、小梁川の跡目には村田城之助が仰せ付けられた」との御意（藩主のお言葉）である。

**[Upper Section]**
Record dated the 22nd day of the 5th month, Genroku 8 (1695)
Concerning the succession (katoku) of Lord Innosuke and Lord Sukesaburō, the following order was issued. A copy of the written notice is recorded below.
"It is hereby ordered, without dispute, that Koyanagawa Innosuke shall succeed to the estate of Lord Date Sukesaburō." This was the lord's (藩主's) expressed will.
Regarding the above matter, Lord Tōyama Tatewaki and Lord Tomizuka Nagato visited Lord Sukesaburō's residence on the 22nd day of the 5th month to convey this order, and it is noted that soup (suimono) and other refreshments were served.
On the same day — the 22nd day of the 5th month of the same year — it was ordered that Lord Murata Jōnosuke would succeed to the position of Lord Innosuke. A copy is recorded below.
