【巻下十五丁裏】
六升にてわれは本米としるゝ也
一 口米四百五拾七石六斗有時此本米はなにほと
そととうときに
○本米二万二千八百八拾石といふ
法に四百五十七石六斗を二升にてわれは

口米二升つゝ引て納米なにほとそととう

六升で割れば、本米とわかる。
一、口米四百五十七石六斗ある時、この本米はいくらかと問うとき
○本米二万二千八百八十石という
（計算法）四百五十七石六斗を二升で割れば、本米とわかる。
一、口米と夫米合わせて千八百三十石四斗ある時、本米はいくらかと問うとき
○本米二万二千八百八十石という
（計算法）千八百三十石四斗を八升で割れば、求める数とわかる。

一、口米と夫米合わせて千八百三十石四斗ある時、夫米はいくらかと問うとき
○夫米千三百七十二石八斗という
（計算法）左に六升を置き、これを八升で割ると七五（0.75）となる。これで右の千八百三十石四斗を割ると、夫米千三百七十二石八斗とわかる。
一、年貢八石六斗七升を計算する時、そのうち一石につき口米二升ずつ引いて、納米はいくらかと問うとき
○納米八石五斗という

Method: Place 6 shō on the left, and divide this by 8 shō, which gives 75 (i.e., 0.75). Divide the right-hand number, 1,830 koku, 4 to, by this, and you will find the fummai is 1,372 koku, 8 to.
Item: When calculating a nengu (annual tax) of 8 koku, 6 to, 7 shō, with kuchigome of 2 shō per koku deducted, how much is the nōmai (rice actually delivered)?
○ The nōmai is 8 koku, 5 to.
