養女として送った件について、そちらのためにもいかがなものか、こちらとしてもなおさらのことです。病気の様子次第で、そちらで御了承いただき御取り扱いいただく方法もあることと存じます。心配な様子もない儀であれば、当年出発の余日もなく、留守中には調えがたく候間、来春御暇を仰せ出されて帰城し、追って婚礼を調えることになるでしょう。委細病気の趣を御遠慮なく仰せ聞かせください。これにより近習で気心の知れた召使いの荒川十右衛門という者を差し向け申します。そちらで安田右京父子とよく申し談じるよう仰せ付けください。以上
