しかるところ、当春よりこの仲間の参会などにも退き度い旨を申し断って出座せず、このような違乱を申し企てようと考えてのことでしょうか。どのようにお願い申し上げるべきか（思案していたところ）、去る六月二十一日、志摩守様へ往来田の御願いに出向いた際、五家の書物なども奪い取ったなど、色々のことを七家よりお願い出た旨を仰せられた次第でございます。この儀については、まだ御奉行所にてご吟味もなされておりませんので、書物の一札は差し上げておりません。

However, since this spring, they have declared their intention to withdraw from the meetings of this association and have not attended. One wonders whether they planned to cause such disorder.
