又承応三足揃ニ兼里福田庄ニ乗宿老也十二人目

また承応三年の足揃において、兼里は福田庄に騎乗した。宿老であり十二人目である。
十二人目以降は諸役を行わないためである。騎乗することは手中無吟味（審査なし）であるという。
また五日であっても望めば宿老も騎乗する。十二人目以降は袖料を取らない。
一 承応二年五月の競馬二番で、右の親久が埒末で落馬した。
舎人が腹を立てて馬を牽き返したため、徒歩で禄を受けた。寛
永六年三番では右の保永と親久が古来二人であった。曲事の至りゆえに
記録しておくのである。

一 同年の足汰で五味備前守が役馬金津御庄に立て、保化が
乗った。疾走後に逆に馬場に出て馬足を打ち折った。番には別
の馬で神事を勤めた。五日にも備前守の馬が出走した。
一 明暦三年五月五日四番で右の図書助保竹が追馬であった。先
馬の尾筒と追馬の頭との間が馬長三つ程隔たり、追
馬の負けと定められた。しかし負けていないとして階下の所へ馬を上げ
穿鑿があったが、絹は懸けられなかった。保竹は禄を懸けずに左清
邑と一緒に御殿へ参り、庁屋の座に着いた。禄を懸けずに
