多識編では、地瓜兒をもって甘露兒の異名としているが、これは誤りである。地瓜兒はシロネ（又はクサチョロキ）と呼ばれるものであり、チョロキとよく似てはいるが、別の植物である。根に蠶（くびれ・節）がなく、根元から髭根が長く伸びる。

The *Tashiki-hen* treats *Jikaji* (地瓜兒) as an alternative name for *Kanroji* (甘露兒 / Choroki), but this is incorrect. *Jikaji* refers to the plant known as *Shirone* (or *Kusa-choroki*), which resembles Choroki but is a distinct species. It lacks the segmented, silkworm-like swellings on the roots, and instead has long hair-like roots extending from the base.
